Had this in storage for a while but have come to the conclusion that I won’t get around to building it up.

It’s an (approx?) early 80s Falcon Reynolds 501 frame (I can’t find a whole lot of info about a falcon Oxford). It takes 27 x 1 1/4 wheels so will need long reach callipers to run 700c.

Rear dropouts are 126mm
I have re-greased the BB and it’s all good, headset is all there but a little rough so will need the same treatment.

Free to collect from Bristol BS7 (maybe in exchange for some tasty treats).

Hey folks - having a small clearout of some bits! Based in Bristol but will post smaller items :)

1. GT Lecacy Hybrid frame. Chromoly Tubing. Takes 700c Wheels and V-Brakes. Headset is a bit crunchy but salvageable. Seatpost is aluminium and stuck. Would make a cool lockable bike! SOLD

2. 1990s Sturmey Archer AW3 Wide Ratio hub wheelset. Rigida Rims, hardly worn. Bought off of eBay for project but never used (classic). Not test ridden but shifting mechanism seems all good! £40.

3. 700c 1 1/8 Fork Threadless fork, from a Giant Bowery c2008. Painted Black, Couple of Dings only cosmetic. Takes a recessed calliper mount. 232mm of steerer measured from the top of the crown race bit. £20. £10 Collected

4. 1 Inch Threaded fork with light mount. Off of a late 70s Dawes Galaxy, nice chrome. Will need long reach brakes to run a 700c wheel. 162mm of steerer tube including 32mm of thread. Measured in the same way is the Giant fork. £20 posted, £10 Collected.

5. WTB Exposure 36c Folding tyres (pair). Couldn’t get them to seat on my rims. Have been inflated and rolled around workshop but not ridden. SOLD.

6. FSA Square Taper Cranks, 130 BCD, 175mm. Couple of light wear marks. £15.

7. ITM Eclipse 120mm Stem for 1 Inch threaded steerer. £20.

8. Raceface 130BCD 42T Narrow wide. Very light use. SOLD

9. Velosolo 44T 130BCD Chainring. Used condition. SOLD

10. Shimano front Caliper Brake, recessed mounting. SOLD

All parts can be collected in Bristol BS7. I appreciate most of you folks are based in London, so will happily post items for a few pounds extra to cover shipping (except the frame and wheels). Open to offers on all items!!

Looks ace, love the design of the chain stays on these. I want to mount a rear light on the centre pull cable stop on my frame - I’ll most likely be stealing your walnut/copper one I think!
