Cuba, which “leases” land to the US Army (Guantanamo), is also playing host to cutting edge Chinese spying facilities.

Agree with most of what you’ve said except
FBI took them because they found them stuffed in a desk drawer along with secret document, pens, scrap paper, assorted junk.
By all accounts thus far the FBI were neurosurgically precise in how they acted. I suspect trump was deemed a flight risk and the search warrant included them specifically, or else trump’s lawyers would be all over that.
About a year ago is when US media published the story about Russia paying blood money for US special service members in Syria etc. A good many of them and informants died in just a few weeks. If any of the files can be linked to that, the list of crimes becomes basically endless: accessory to murder, … murder of a federal employee discharging their commission, probably some attempted murders, acting as agent of foreign power engaged in hostilities against the US, spying for a foreign power engaged…, treason, accessory to destruction of US federal property, etc.

Now that we’re free from red-tape loving demons in the 27-country-strong EU, we can sign free trade deals that will MBGA! It’s not Brexit that’s crushed thousands of businesses, and it’s certainly not something we as a nation could remedy, we have to focus on keeping a stiff upper lip and push full steam ahead right into that iceberg everyone’s been talking about for years.

Same playbook from the USSR days in Afghanistan. Males 14 and up were either pressed into service with their militias, or shot.
