I bought the expensive, newer style Brompton set for £75 - includes clamps and bolts for the stem, seatpost clamp and rear triangle catch. All are much more ergonomic than older stock ones in my opinion.
A day after fitting, the Brompton fell out of my car boot onto the hinge. Bolt bent.
A week later the same thing happened, but it landed on the frame clamp hinge. Bolt bent. 😭😭😭
Edit: Actually £75 isn't bad for that set considering how much third-party ones cost. Thr price hurt more because of the damage.

Sorry to hear. Might be worth sharing this with the @stolenride instagram account too, as they're London based. The last time a friend's bike was stolen and recovered, it was in found with local Tower Hamlets thugs (but that's also where he lives and had a whole entourage to get it back), so markets there as you suggested might be a good start. Just be safe and still report it the incident.

Mash bars sold and I've been looking for an alternative. I remembered that the BLB bars are actually made by someone else - the S logo on the centre being the clear giveaway. Couldn't remember if it was Nitto (which doesn't start with S!), but then remembered where I've seen it before; Satori (are they made by Nitto too?). Satori happen to have cheap, light bars that are the same polished black, with mildly flat tops (more function than aero), and are wider than 35-36cm. Not too expensive either.
These are the bars in question: https://biurban.net/en/handlebars/2731-bullhorn-handlebar-satori-aero.html
And here's a Nitto version that have internal routing and cost way more: https://www.hubjub.co.uk/nitto-rb0-36-bullhorn-4606-p.asp
The optional internal routing means I could switch back to TT levers, should I wish. Looks a bit more silly running just one brake with TT levers though, unless I fit the left-side for 'balance'...

Broken link? Found the post anyway =). Gorgeous bike. Panasonic yellow rules!
Allegedly, those 7710 bolts are only designed for that crankset? https://www.sjscycles.co.uk/chainsets/shimano-duraace-track-fc7710-chainring-fixing-bolt-nut-set-m8-x-6mm-16s-9801/
SJS are normally good with their compatibility notes.

Serious question time. I'm looking for a replacement gravel wheelset (okay maybe I should've have sold the DT R470!) that I can gravel with. Not too expensive. I'm thinking of something like:
Hope and DT are a bit out of budget, Fulcrums are cheap but XDR freehub needed (another ~70 quid).
Currently, I'm using those super lightweight racing alu wheels from Hunt with gravel tyres (think they're called Aerodynamicist 34mm or something). Defo not an ideal choice. I might even get rid of those if anyone's interested in a trade/swap.
Edit: Not the biggest fan of Hunt having owned them now. Scribe aren't too bad.
