Lots of landlord hate.
I had 3 landlords living in London and all were absolutely fine to deal with, zero issues from us and glowing references from them when moving.
I’m also currently a landlord though not by choice and not for much longer. Someone had a place to live for a year at below market rate at a time when they needed it.
All these ideas to make being a landlord more prohibitive just mean higher rents and less choice for those who want to rent.
The need for rental property isn’t going to disappear overnight and the slack isn’t going to be taken up by councils who are broke. -
The big issue is they will likely want to template themselves so it’s 2 trips.
Definitely go local though, I had a quote for about 10m of plain corian windowsills from one of the big online places and the fancy quartz from Imperial was less than 2/3 the price. If we had picked from the offcuts outside it would have been even cheaper.
I would do some drawings and go and visit a few, possibly not the high st showrooms but the trading estate ones. -

Well it’s been covered by most news channels this last week about how SK might react.
While they have a historical agreement with russia for port visits of warships they officially condemn the annexation of Crimea, Donbas etc and oppose the war.
They also have strong partnerships with Nato countries as well as allies in the region who are not aligned with russia and China. -

You could try Williamson Carson and Co who are media/TV/film/photography insurance specialists.
They have been my insurers for years. Their employers and public is not horrendously expensive, the big brokers run a mile once you mention photography.
Edit: just read CJR’s post recommending them so they must be good.
