So Negroni update, bought some Petroni Galician vermouth from local posh off-licence which wasn’t a bad price as its litre bottle, very herby and zero sugar sweet mouthfeel which is good as some of the cheaper vermouth’s can be one dimensional and very sugary.
Not as fruit driven as Asterley bro’s but will definitely buy again.
Only thing is it has some kind of plastic diffuser thing in the neck which means when trying to pour careful amounts it just runs down the bottle.
Is this some kind of bartender thing and you fit a spout in there? It looks to be fairly tightly fitted and I’m not sure it will come out easily.
Any idea what it is supposed to do? -

Need to get my lease extended or at least start that process now.
There are a few online only experts who charge around £3k in fee’s and i’m going to get in touch with my local outfit who did a standard property purchase, there is also Glazer Delmar in Dulwich who have been mentioned a few times but if anyone has any recommendations then let me know and an outline on their fee’s if possible.
Standard lease extension but below 80 years so some marriage value to calculate but apart from that should be straightforward with no outrageous ground rent issues etc. -

Sad news to wake up to.
Try to incorporate his famous words in everyday life as often as I can.
Proclaimed ‘This is democracy manifest” when walking into the polling station much to the embarrassment of my partner and only yesterday a ‘succulent Chinese meal’.
Not used ‘This is the man who got me on my penis’ for a while though.
Noodles for tea tonight.

Just get the formality level right between those as well as only one of sock/tie/pocket square that’s ‘out there’, if they are all shouting then it’s dandyism not style.
And don’t forget the belt.If you go less formal on the shoe (suede) don’t have a fine silk tie or square.
You wouldn’t have a knitted tie with patent shoes for example as they are too far apart.
You get plenty of leeway but the extremes will not work in harmony. -

"Fitting insulated plasterboard around the reveal”
just be aware of the thermal changes in that area and sealing properly to avoid any interstitial condensation. I would use spray foam adhesive and ensure a continuous bead to enclose any areas behind. Legally you may need fixings but you can use less with foam than dot/dab, this is because it’s a fire risk with the boards falling off the wall and blocking escape.
If you are removing the window boards then a good look at the cavity closer to see if it’s worth fitting it properly and a modern version? all depends on the age and construction of your building. -

The Marguerite Patten recipe.
My mother bakes xmas and wedding cakes for people and she’s used this recipe since the 70’s the book is now stained brown from splashes of butter/brown sugar mixture from the last 50 years. wrapped in foil and fed occasionally with booze and they last for years.
I was usually called in at the butter/brown sugar stage and got the spoon to lick as payment.Should be easy to find it online.

It’s a metal or sometimes thick plastic stiffener in the sole, I think they only run 3/4 the way along the sole from the back. I guessing trainers don’t have one or they are not as stiff as you can bend them right over.
Not read this but it looks like they are important to footwear
https://sneakerspeculation.com/2020/01/02/importance-of-shank-plates/I used my approach shoes on my Brompton flat pedals because they were stiff, ride in proper shoes Time spd/Look all other times so wanted a stiff shoe to pedal not a trainer.

Third in the medallists table can’t be bad.
High point Pidders, Tebogo and the Turkish gun for hire.
Low point The person who missed out on the opportunity to represent Australia at Breaking, whoever they are they probably couldn’t do a PHD on the subject but they would have busted the moves.
