that was the main reason my partner has dual nationality as while having indefinite leave to remain she would not have access to 30 years of state pension contributions without being a dual national.

Between us we will have Polish, U.K and in the near future Irish passports so both dual nationalities.

Well Shantung is a particular way of weaving silk to get that texture and never going to be cheap. Even the ones on Etsy are £60+

I would wear a knitted/bigger weave silk tie but not shiny fine silk but that’s my take for a wedding.

Just get the formality level right between those as well as only one of sock/tie/pocket square that’s ‘out there’, if they are all shouting then it’s dandyism not style.

If you go less formal on the shoe (suede) don’t have a fine silk tie or square.

just be aware of the thermal changes in that area and sealing properly to avoid any interstitial condensation. I would use spray foam adhesive and ensure a continuous bead to enclose any areas behind. Legally you may need fixings but you can use less with foam than dot/dab, this is because it’s a fire risk with the boards falling off the wall and blocking escape.

I used my approach shoes on my Brompton flat pedals because they were stiff, ride in proper shoes Time spd/Look all other times so wanted a stiff shoe to pedal not a trainer.
