No. but I think Darko liked it. think he did a comparison video with the top end NAD?
my thoughts are I would want an audition and do i want all those convenient features or to focus on what i do want and buy accordingly?
as for room correction? if i had a tricky room then maybe but where do you stop? bass traps etc? and is my front end and speaker combo worthy?
there are plenty of streaming amps out there (Naim? Hegel?)

I’m gobsmacked that i have to come back here and rant (again) one document to check over that will take 30mins and we can exchange, if that doesn’t happen today or be be primed and ready for tomorrow morning the seller pulls the plug.
been waiting 2 days for this doc which is in it’s final revision. last communication was ‘Sorry i’m ill will get it too you in the morning’
and then fuck all response apart from an email from agent asking why we haven’t exchanged.
Solicitor knows it’s now or never and yet radio silence.Forum resident mortgage broker Mike is great and happy to recommend but please find your own solicitor and don’t use the one he has links with and hopefully you will avoid the abysmal attention to detail and lack of urgency we have had to put up with.
It’s just as well they are not local as i would be in reception losing my shit and being restrained by Security right now.rant over.
Edit: so supposedly we exchange tomorrow, i’ll believe it when it happens. had to go through old out of office emails and find peoples direct numbers in other branches and rant at them to find out if the person doing the work is even in the office working today as zero acknowledgement of any activity until 1pm.

So i just had an email from Bulb regarding octopus and nothing much changing, had a look at the tariffs on octopus and they have a few economy 7 tariffs that are way cheaper for the night rate (12p instead of nearly 30p) and a bit more for the daytime rate. can i swap to octopus from Bulb? are they taking new customers?
I’m hopefully only here for another few months and this would mean i could heat my flat/hot water and pay a fair bit less. this nighttime use is the big part of winter bills and my partner will be living here and i’m going to have to crank the heating up and not have horrific bills. -

a lot of that sounds uncomfortably familiar, 2 buyers changing their minds along with sellers hiding £10k section 20 works notices until the day before exchange hoping to force our hand, losing that flat and then viewing one next block over and offer accepted all on the same day.
We could potentially exchange today/tomorrow or the house of cards could come tumbling down...

that's because it's industry is mostly populated by little boys wanting to build those fantasy car drawings they did in school, everything looks like a transformer about to morph into a robot saving the planet except they are not saving anything.
The whole male ego design language for motorcars needs to change, more women need to be employed in the process so the industry can grow up and be more responsible, it's had over 100 years to do this so no excuses. -

I would do a bit of your own research as to what method will work best and what to use, i get a feeling that most plasterer’s will not be up to date on what products are out there and how to use them, if you mention interstitial and cold bridging and they give you a blank look you need to find somebody else to do the job.
http://www.insulationsuperstore.co.uk have help guides/advice and is a good place to start

Is that an acoustic panel? was looking at that for some entrance hallway cupboards as the building has reeded panels in the common areas (late 50’s-early 60’s) so don’t feel i’m jumping on a style bandwagon just adding to what’s already in the building.
is it heavy?edit: apologies if you are jumping on a style bandwagon...

Anyone wanting to do some boxing in on boxing day i have a bag of unopened knauf drywall adhesive and some plasterboard off cuts from 24-30cm wide and 80-120cm long free to collect tomorrow in SE19 or they are going to be added to the waste collection. you have to take both as i can store the adhesive for the next time i need it.

i forgot there is also the nonnas or whatever it’s called where they recruit women via facebook/word of mouth and bring them over from different regions of Italy to come and cook the food of their region and then rotate them round the different restaurants.
probably not white tablecloths and loads of elbow room but again the food is obviously authentic -

Nearly had to fill out the incident book, mixing a big bucket of self level for my bathroom floor but using the bathroom fitters drill which had a very on/off trigger so hard to keep an even speed (all the settings worn off the chuck) was wearing work gloves and guiding the mixer round the bucket when the hexagonal rod caught in the glove between thumb and forefinger, i flinched but pulled the trigger instead of letting go!? now have a sprained base of thumb which is annoying and will probably ache tomorrow.
Stay safe people. -
Thanks Graham.
Will seem odd to not have the ongoing fuckwittery/uncertainty if it does go through..
