One other advantage of sectional doors is the ability to easily* change the motor/operator in a powered setup. My old roller door motor died and the replacement quotes/lead times were outrageous, it was only slightly more expensive to replace the whole thing. I just ended up winding it up and down until we moved. Fast forward to the new place, sectional door, wanted new smart opener, ordered, installed with Dad in about two hours.

Try the Orvis shop in Stockbridge. Pre-covid they did free fly fishing lessons near/on the Test, think they used the 'Greyhound Pub' over the road to fish from, or at least have some tie-up. Cannot think of a better place to start.

No IHT, subject to a few additional conditions. Small parcels are always more expensive per acre. Still a reasonable amount of woodland grants are available. Woodlands are quite decent to deal with, basically, they buy a large plot, then split it down, add covenants, provide basic support etc. Friend owns a small parcel bought through them, he seems happy enough, uses it frequently.

I was always under the impression pollarding is best done annually. So initial cost + yearly maintenance, maybe worth asking what that would be per annum. The canopy looks huge, bet everyone in the road is permanently pulling out saplings.

I've two NF pans, wok and frying pan. Had them since 2015, amazing pans, just be careful on induction hobs, you'll warp them. The NF people are brilliant.

It’s a kit from buildfromhubs I bought it on kickstarter circa 2016. The kids used it as a playhouse/dome, when they were younger. I built it with chestnut I got locally. Their instagram shows quite a range of uses people find for them.

My no mowing is definitely going to turn into a permanent thing. Need to keep an area mowed for the dog shitting, but other than that, let the nettles commence.
