I got into road cycling last year and now have taken on a self build project for a frame bought from a member here. I'm swapping all the components from my Bianchi ML3 for this project.
I've swapped over the dérailleurs and the brakes and waiting for a bottom bracket tool to finish the drive train side of things.
I need some help with the headset fitting. Details further below:
I'm trying to use an adaptor to change the headset from a quill to a threadless but the adaptor in its current guise is leaving some space and I'm not sure how to tackle that. In the pictures below, you can see the adaptor and the stem and the space that's getting left behind. I'd appreciate any help in how to fit this.
It's my first ever project so please excuse the lack of knowledge in taking this on but I'm trying and willing to learn. Also included is a picture with all the spare headset parts that came with the Look and came off the Bianchi.

Some items I'd like to move on as they're taking up space and or not needed. I'm based in TW7 and would prefer collection. I have a couple of boxes to dispatch the wheels and will have to confirm postage.
Shimano RP1 SPD-SL Size 44 - I used them for about 10 short rides and I prefer not to ride with cycling shoes. I did take out the inserts before as they we just a little snug so those are unused - albeit with some marks at the back of the insert from storage. Asking for £40 + postage if they're to be posted.
ITM Aero 2.4 wheel set 622 15c-18c - Was running a 9 speed cassette but that's been taken off. The wheels were trued at LBS at the beginning of summer and have done ~500 miles since then. Quando hubs are in excellent condition. Front wheel better suited for a turbo trainer becauase the braking surface is uneven. Rear wheels are absolutely fine. Asking for £30 + postage if they're to be posted.
Ambrosio wheels - Came as spares with my Bianchi and of no use to me. One of the wheels has a hairline crack near a spoke and that's why they were not being used. I thought they looked pretty so picked them up with the bike. Otherwise the wheels come with Quando hubs*. Asking for £20 + postage if they're to be posted.
*Please excuse my ignorance if they're known as something else because I'm new to all this.Any questions, please ask. I've linked the pictures and happy to answer any questions.

A friend was looking for this. Have informed him and he'll be in touch if he wants this.
