Fair few issues with this but thought it may be sortable for someone. As follows:
- There is some paint flaking around the bottom bracket and barrel adjusters
- Barrel adjusters are seized, although you can get a cable through
- Fork has a slight gouge at the top and has the wrong nut in the steerer tube. LBS thought it was repairable and quoted me 20 quid to cut the steerer below the fault and fit an expander
- Bit of bubbling in the carbon lacquer in places

Bought this dedacciai fire light alu/carbon frame from eBay recently. Looked good but on closer inspection noticed a fair bit of paint bubbling near the bb area. Scraped some of the paint away and discovered a chalky residue on the aluminium underneath - see photos. Looks like corrosion where water has got in. Is this salvagable? I.e. Can I make it safe to ride
Rest of the frame in excellent condition. Frame itself is about 10 years old. Thanks.
