These ones. Thought I'd try them as a bit of a joke so not a massive deal if I dont sort it out I guess.

Probably a dumb question but I'm new to hollowtech and 1x conversions
Have some hollowtech cranks that are said to need a 48.5mm chainline, I'm putting them on an old 26 mtb for a 1x conversion.
The chainline and spindle length of hollowtech confuses my small brain. Can someone break it down for an idiot.
Does spindle length in hollowtech correlates more to what's attached to the cranks? So there isn't various sized spindle length hollowtech bbs like there is with square taper, that one would need to mess with to get the proper chainline?

A bike build is coming... just been delayed getting the actual bike - but that shall be remedied as of Friday!
In the meantime I've been collecting various bike parts in preparation to get my fix.
Two questions to ask you lot:
I picked up some free - some may say disgusting - oil slick ebay cranks for free from a nice guy on here. They're hollowtech and the Ebay listing says they require a chain line of 48.5mm(?). I've got little to no experience with hollowtech or 1x conversions. What bb will this sucker require?Failing that, anyone have a narrow/wide 110bcd ring for sale? heh

Yes, this is not really the best time to do this given the ongoing bike part shortage, but here we are. My brother is abroad for work for the next month and has tasked me with building a gravel bike that will beat the wait times on ordering a new Kepler... Let's see if it works out like that...
He is very set on a Kepler but could probably be persuaded by shorter wait times to go with something used but similar, which means steel, discs, wider tires. Basically trying to build a gravel bike similar spec to the base model Kepler but hopefully in a shorter time...
I know this is probably a long shot but would love to be able to do this for him so I am not the only one in the family nerd-ily obsessed with riding bikes, we both used to ride vintage road bikes around with each other, so in some way this will help working towards doing that again! *pulls on heart strings*
Frame and fork to full build.
I'm in London so can collect from these parts or near, if not postage is definitely fine too.
Cheers all.
I sadly bought a bike that's too small for me without testing it out, have since acquired a plethora of parts to make that build happen, now looking for something that tad bit bigger in order to do so.
19/20" frame
26 inch wheels
130mm spaced rear
rigid fork
Canti/vbrake
something lockup-able (ratty paint is fine)
Would prefer just the frame and fork to save me the hassle of taking all the parts off and having to deal with lots of spare unneeded parts - but feel free to offer otherwise
I'm in London so can collect here, have the next couple days off work and would be great to get it sorted asap if anyone has anything. Would pay postage for the right thing. Budget £100.
