Here's my first lockdown project from a couple of years ago, bought a cheap old Peugeot from FB marketplace and basically taught myself how to work on my bike by pulling it apart and putting it back together.
It's not perfect - but it's cool in a bit of a ratty retro way, just waiting on some cheap double sided clipless pedals to show themselves so I can use it properly. -

2 ex-Royal Mail pannier bags - approx. 40cm x 35cm ish. No mounting bits included unfortunately - have been intending to convert them to some sort of proper rack clip situation for ages but I don't think it's going to happen.
I'm down in Portsmouth for collection, or I reckon it'll be about £6 to post. Would like £40 for them please.

I keep seeing things about the new GR-Corolla and now it's all I can think about. The GR-Yaris is super cool and I love the shape of the Corolla therefore it's even better - but at the moment it looks like it's US only and there's no plans to release it over here. Boo. (Not that I could really afford one anyway at the moment, but still.)

Not sure where the Raiders got all of that money.
In the last week we've dropped Yannick Ngakoue, Alec Ingold, Brandon Facyson, Carl Nassib, and Zay Jones, amongst others. I'm assuming that DeSean Jackson will be gone now. Plenty of solid (and paid) players gone - and I think Carr has taken a pay cut on the condition he gets to play with Adams.

A proper garage is on my bucket list one day. I'm pretty fortunate to at least have a decent shed now that I can keep the tools and bikes in, but a decent 2 or 3 car garage is part of my dream house build.
Is the garage in close proximity to your place? Definitely get some decent security in place regardless.

I sold my Cube. Genuinely quite sad about it, but it was hardly getting used, wasn't particularly economical, was falling apart a bit, and had started to have the odd electrical issue... and I know from experience that's a slippery slope.
So it's gone. To be replaced with... a hybrid. Me from 10 years ago would have taken the piss out of myself - but modern hybrids are good, and the eco-twat in me loves it.
2019 Toyota Yaris GR-Sport - bit of a bargain considering it's only got about 7500 miles on it. Lovely to drive and I'll soon have the bits through to put my Thule roof rack I got for the Cube on this one, for the bikes - although I'm led to believe it is big enough for one bike in the back with the seats down.
Anyway, it's cool, it's sensible, it's economical, and it still looks a bit sporty so I don't have to admit my life is over quite yet. -

We used to get a similar sort of chap at my old local's karaoke nights. Took it very seriously, told us he just did this on the side when he wasn't gigging, but was very well known and used to be successful. His singing was passable, very over-the-top pub singer type - but he was clearly delusional. I think there's just one for every pub isn't there really.
Side-note - he tried to buy something I was selling on FB Marketplace recently and I remembered the name. Tried to get him to pay up front because he wanted me to deliver it, and I still very clearly remember the message he sent... 'I WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN'. Very sinister.

Agreed. Good luck finding someone for the job but you can't mention a dog without dog tax.
