I’m late to the party with proper pizza ovens. I do our pizzas on a stone in the oven, but as that only goes up to 245* my efforts aren’t that great. So it’s time to step up and buy a Ooni? gas oven, but which one? Or is there another option?

I’m not being mean, but giving the chain and cassette a good clean wouldn’t hurt. And this is going to sound like a stupid question, but now many sprockets are there on the cassette? It’s kind of hard to count them with the muck. :D
I only ask because I had somebody come it the shop with ‘crap’ shifting after they replaced their cassette themselves, 10spd Tiagra for ‘a cheap one of the net’ or as I pointed out a 9spd Sora one. Oops!

Today I decided to eschew modernity, and pump tyres up on The Guv’nor, don my merino jersey and shorts, and pull on my leather cycling shoes.
Then head off to the broads for a sit on a bench and a look out across the water. There were boats, birds, barns, rape seed flowers by the mile and some nice doors. Sometimes it’s nice to just ride your bike, just because.

And for us world tour riders (commute to work 10 miles each way 5x a week ;D) they are the easiest to fabricate in a backstreet garage in Tibet, out of flat stock, with a file…

I’m pretty sure that’s what happened with Liz’s spesh she picked it up at the local store, but paid online.

Free standing I’ll go a 3/10 as well. Integrated, a solid 8/10 and that’s just getting the door front right.

It should be ok. I’d take off the back and any panels that can be removed to let the air circulate. We got our old rangemaster off a chap that had had it in a leaky shed for 5 years before we picked it up. The fan on one of the ovens packed up after 6 months, but it was a cheap/easy fix. And like your’s was a steal so.

Those are the new windows :/ they genuinely are much better a the old ones. I can’t be doing with coloured frames. The large ones were 8 panels and had massive frames, the new ones are as big as we could go glass wise without spending fortunes on special hinges etc and Liz loves that door! :D It needs stripping back and refinishing, but it works with the open porch idea she has. If the bricks matched I wouldn’t be thinking about cladding tbh. Before I commit I think I’ll try repointing a section with whit mortar to see if that helps? Most older places are done that way in the village, so?

It’s not as bad as it looks now that there’s moss back on it. But in the future, when it need replacing or with extend the dormers on the back I think this is the way forward with it.

I voted corrugated iron as well, but have been vetoed!
Undecided about extra insulation, the house is pretty well wrapped already, cost vs savings needs working out.
