Minor spoilers:

The mouse has doubled down on their Jedi princess, against whom I have no animosity, I just thought the latest storylines sucked and the character treatment was ridiculous.
Might be interesting to see the story of the first force user, but could also be a disappointment. I hope it doesn’t quash the ethereal, omnipresent aspect of the force mythos. Not surprised to see that they’ll churn out yet another ‘new’ Imperial faction (Imperial Remnants) for the somehow still fledgling New Republic to overcome.

Client’s new L05 brake pads after Tour of Flanders. I’m thinking sintered Shimano for Liege-Bastogne-Liege. Any other recommendations for longest lasting (and somehow quietest possible) GRX compatible pads please?
For context, ToF was wet and very gritty. It seems one of pistons in the rear calliper stopped retracting fully at some point due to caked on muck, leading to the disappearing brake pad. Both sets were worn to the spring.

I’m not saying they’re playing 4d chess, just that the proven strategies that work for mega churches, for example, have also been employed by trump’s campaigners and handlers post the apprentice. By many accounts his way of presenting himself had to be edited into a leader archetype for the show, so he’s definitely been coached.
It could absolutely be coincidence regarding that large constituency, but I suspect there’s a degree of calculation there, particularly factoring in their susceptibility to grift.

Yeah those folks aren’t scientists but they’re al least smart enough to realise what sticks with an audience and sell that.
More than that lot I’d suggest people like Roger stone (whose importance is likely also overstated), and crucially the TV and marketing folks who were paid specifically to turn trump into a brand that stood a political snowflake’s chance in hell.

Her whole concept was kinda crap tbh.
The first scene with Finn going rogue was amazing and held so much promise. Ultimately they just discarded him as an interesting character, and with it the chance to make take an amazing new approach to that universe. Like that annoying scene where he has to tell Rey something important, and then it’s just never discussed again? Terrible writing. I won’t even get started on their brutalising of old icons to make room for new IP.
Ultimately mouse corp just want to sell as many plushies and action toys and Legos as they can, so they’ve made Star Wars more attractive to kids and less interesting to adults (because it’s easier to amuse kids than adults, also times are tough and it seems most parents prefer to spend discretionary funds on their kids rather than on themselves). It’s partly why there’s loads of visually interesting new characters that have next to zero impact on the story (hello, Knights of Ren).
It’s shit but it’s working- kids love it.
