Thanks that’s good to know. Sounds like I can afford to go tighter before I run the risk of stripping the bolt or crushing anything (these are 26.0mm bars too)

Does anyone have a suggestion for the torque spec of the handlebar clamp on a traditional style quill stem (single bolt). Both stem and bars are alloy, but no torque spec on either. About 6Nm seems to be the point at which I can’t get the bars to slip (rotate). That’s approx what ahead stems I’ve had have suggested but those are 4 (smaller) bolts rather than 1 bigger bolt. Ta!

Pretty sure I’ve got some spare, used but still usable condition. Will check this eve.

I'm switching a flat bar single speed with v brakes over to drops. I'll be using some Sram S500 levers I picked up on here and pretty sure I'll need to switch to mini-vs because of the differing cable pull. From reading a bit it sounds like people have varying experiences depending on the specific lever/brake combo. Does anyone have any recommendations of mini-vs to go with the Sram levers? Ta!

Like everyone else, looking to free up some space by getting rid of some unused bits and pieces. Will post photos shortly. Collection in N19 please!

1. Sram Rival 1 cranks. 170mm crank length. Got these and the chainring below new and have used them, but not a whole lot. There's some rub on the graphics on the crank arms. £20 Sold
   
2. Sram X-Sync 50T narrow wide chainring (labelled 11 speed, but I used it in a 10 speed setup). £10 Sold. (Cranks and chainring together for £25!).
   
3. Look Keo Classic pedals. These came on a second hand bike I bought (and then sold) ages ago. I used them a few times and they seemed fine. They're pretty worn on the pedal itself. £FREE gone
   
4. Pair of unused KMC 9-speed missing links. £FREE Gone
   
5. Shimano MTB Shoes (SH-M077) size Eur 43 (which I think makes them a UK9). Includes Shimano MTB cleats. Pretty well used, but still functional. £FREE Gone
   
6. Shimano BR-M575 lever and hydraulic calliper. Definitely used, but not by me. Not really sure where it came from! Seems functional though. £FREE Gone

I built a dad bike. Frame/wheels off here, a bunch of bits I had sitting around unused plus a couple of new components. Have done a quick shake-down ride and found that the stem is too short for me so will be swapping that out. Would like to fit mudguards and a front rack at some point.
