I present to the Form my 61cms Tokyo Fixed S2 frame, forks and Stronglight headset.
I purchased this frame in Tokyo fixed's closing down sale back in 2013.
My intention was to get really fit and use it to time trial on in club events. Unfortunately, I never quite managed it! Since purchase, the frame has languished in the garage. Yes, that's right a lovely frame like this has not been used - ever! In my defence, I have been in Yorkshire on caring duties. The only think I've done with the frame is fit a top quality Stronglight headset and clean out the bottom bracket threads
so the frame will accept a new bottom bracket. There are one or two chips from storage
shown.
The measurements are:
Seat Tube centre to top = 61 cms
Top Tube centre to centre = 57 cms
Head Tube = 19cms
I think you'll need long reach calipers for this and I reckon you'll be able to fit a 28mm rear tyre. It's a bit tighter on the front - so 25mm.
The frame is steel 4130 but isn't a Surly! It is quite lightweight with decent lugs. Interestingly, the bottom bracket area is TIG welded for greater strength and rigidity.
I would like to get back close to my initial outlay and I am taking into consideration the storage chips - circa £225. A fair price I feel for such a lovely frame which really needs someone to look after it and ride the way it was meant to be ridden - hard!
The frame is located in Hounslow and as I'm away in Yorkshire it will be collection only.

Advice welcomed please. I bought a pair of Secialised mtb shoes about 15 months ago during lock down. They've been fine - until recently.
Now when I ride my feet get uncomfortably hot. My theory is that the cushioned insoles are not doing their job anymore. I notice the shoes when I'm out, I can feel the discomfort as if the cleat is coming through - it isn't! and surely the mark of a decent shoe is that they shouldn't be noticeable. They cost me £100 so surely shouldn't be knackered already!
I'm resolved to try some cushioned insoles - any recommendations? -

I present to the forum my 60cms Surosa frame + Alpina Carbon Forks + Headset.
dimensions are as follows:
Head Tube 175mm
Seat Tube 60cms c to top
Top Tube 57cms c to c.
Quite a nice frame really - 7005 series aluminium, lightweight and strong. The frameset is capable of mudguards and a rack. I've had the frame since 2004 but I've only used it for a week long tour in the last 9 years! Since then it's been languishing in the garage.
I really like the frame, it is comfortable and the ride quality isn't harsh. It also in very good condition, no dents, dings, dongs and the paintwork is very sound too.
Surosa were a rival to Ribble at one point. The quality of this framset was better than the Ribble ( I'm qualified to say this because I've had both at one point.
I decided to sell because with mudguards fitted there is only clearance for 23mm tyres
otherwise, I would keep the frameset. These days I ride 28mm minimum because of the poor state of repair of our roads.
This should carry on for many years as a sound commuter/winter/audax frame.
Priced fairly at £49.
PM for more information.
