Cannot imagine it was on purpose, unless they had some beef I don't know about. But even then JW is not the guy to pull a stunt like that. The temperature in the velodrome was extremely high, hence all the crashes I think, which are normally quite rare in the men's madison, strangely enough. The spanish guy somersaulting looked awful.

Terrible madison. French camerawork made it even worse. Very happy for the portugese though, fantasitc finale.
