Many frames in the netherlands made from 78-81 (or even later on) have portacatena dropouts. The portacatena system was a bit of a flop and being a Dutch framebuilder, you knew you could score a load of those dropouts for cheap. I think it doesn't say anything about the type of frame. On topic though, I have no idea how far you can push the clearence, but should be at least 28mm or even wider.

I have this frame as well, very lovely ride, though in storage now since odd 5 years. Still have some very sharp strava PBs on it. Here's a pic from when I picked it upin 2013, alu fork and 1st gen Athena gruppo. Would love to build it like @Carabo did. There's just so many options for an MGOOF with this frame. Whoever gets it will not be dissapointed, glws!

Yeah that GT's supercool. I still vote for a ti eclypse stem (though the grammo is nice, just unslammable and the tubing is quite skinny), DA 7700 headset and some skinny straight forks (wound up?). Or straight aero blade forks, zipp 808s and while you're at it, ahead grammo :) Forgive me I had a couple of beers already
