I think that’s exactly what it suggests. I’m going to find a new seatpost (it’s quite small, a 25.4 from the box didn’t fit) and a stem for the stokers bars and see if there’s an issue. Current seatpost / stem is integrated so I can’t get my saddle high enough without the mrs being in a weird geometry. Remnants of weld visible at the front:

Spain is built for sportsbikes its fantastic.
First year we rode all the way down through France, then across to the Picos de Europa, then to the Pyrenees, all the way down to the Balearic coast, followed the coast up into France, back through the mountains, and hammered it all the way back through France again. Second year we caught the ferry which is a much better way of doing it haha, and did northerns Spain and into Portugal, down as far as Lisbon. Cannot recommend highly enough. -

-----SOLD-------------
2017 Marin Gestalt 2 gravel bike. size 58 cm. Fits me nicely at 6ft3 but I feel it would be fine for people quite a bit smaller.
Geometry & spec here: https://www.marinbikes.com/gb/bikes/2017-gestalt-2Bought it a year and a half ago to give gravel bikes a punt and have loved every ride on it. Great, great fun. I've decided to upgrade at some point but in the meantime ongoing COVID redundancy forces sale.
A good starting point for a gravel bike, as I found. As you’ll see from the photos there’s some rub on the frame from bikepacking bags, but otherwise in good nick. It does have frame protection tape on it now to stop the rub getting any worse (shutting the stable door after the horse bolted etc etc). I was running a full frame bag in it bikepacking hence the extra cages on fork leg and under down tube.
Since I bought it I’ve done about 800km on it, and done the following:
- New tyres; Gravelking SK 35mm tan walls
- New headset
- New bottom bracket
- New chain
- New pads
- Caliper service – complete strip, clean and re-grease
In all honesty it could do with full re-cabling, and the derailleur looks a bit bashed but still works perfectly. I haven't done it cos $$ is tight.
Pedals, wahoo mount and cages not included.
- New tyres; Gravelking SK 35mm tan walls

Hey guys,
I work for a SW London based cargobike company - we're always in need of riders and are also looking for qualified mechanics to join the team.
Pay is good, stash is good, and they can be pretty flexible with times worked. If you think you'd enjoy spending all day riding a cargobike round London, or fancy fixing them, drop me a message for more info.

Strangely enough the guy I was riding with I met riding along CS7 about 8 years ago. We just got chatting over the course of a few weeks and are now firm friends.
This is great haha! I think my timings were off either way by a few minutes every day so I didn’t used to see the same people on my commutes...
And I was always a few hours ahead of the morning rush anyway so much quieter. -
That and a fuckload of coffee
Haha well if you don’t have dicing with London traffic, you need something else to get the heart rate up!
But agreed, was doing the same - lunch rides are a good way to break up the day. Was finding though that the end of the work day would then sort of blur into the evening and not really “end”.
The cycle home was always a definitive “right, no more work today” (even if it was still at 9pm or such).
Btw, the seatpost did fit, and is solid as a rock, so god knows why previous owner welded the original post in...
(I will be replacing the old shitty saddle with a matching brooks)
