Not everyone's cup of tea, I think, bar bags...
Anyway I've wanted one for a little while, but I think it's obscene spending a minimum of 50 of my hard earned quids on a small pouch of cordura and a zipper...
So, I embarked on a lockdown mini-project. A few days later, £5 for a bit of cordura fabric, £3 for a zipper, some old bits of webbing, lots of mis-stitches, more pin-pricks in the fingers than I can count, and a new-found healthy respect for those masters of the dark-arts of sewing machine use, and we have a bar bag!Pretty chuffed with it all told... Some bits ent pretty, the stitching is not straight, even remotely, but pretty happy.
MYOG is the way forward I reckon! -

Hi all,
Long time lurker on this forum, but a first-time poster.
This is my old Dolan road bike which I'm considering selling due to space and time shortages! It was built up from frame and fork (carbon fork, carbon seatstays) about 15 years ago, with full shimano ultegra 9 speed (old school...), and doesn't, according to Dolan themselves, even have a model name!
This is the bike that got me into cycling but has now been superseded by (many) other bikes. I've been using it on the turbo all winter, and recently replaced BB and jockeys. I think the last time it went outside was about September 2019...
Anyone have a view as to if it's worth selling - anyone know what I could expect to sell it for?
It's in good nick apart from age-related wear here and there, and it's still a lovely bike to ride - but i never ride it!
Haha - my man from BC perhaps?
