Not sure anyone could pick up a Goldwing.
There was a specific unfaired detuned Vfr400f which was used in rising schools, it had massive crash bars maybe a foot each side with different coloured lights on them that lit in sequence according to your speed. The bars were so wide I doubt it could have fallen over to be picked up.
Some schools in city’s were on top of buildings to add a bit of spice to the emergency stop.I read in one of the Grey Bike magazines to go up on capacity you had to pass tests in sequence and they got more expensive so most stopped at 400cc.
I despatched a string of Bros400s, CB-1s and CBR 400s, they were all around the same age and mileage as the MOT (Shaken) became stricter with age and eventually involved a partial engine strip. You can fit a 750cc AfricaTwin engine in a Bros400 if you try

What's the best amount of clearance between the tyre and mudguard, I've just got some cheap Blackburn Cloudburst guards from SJS for the family shopper. Going by the curve and the front brake mount bracket they are designed to be about 30 mm apart which seems wrong.
I have never, even as a courier, used mudguards before.

Just come back from holiday in Weymouth where to my eternal shame I put the wrong recycling in the bin, glass goes in a separate box.
A stiffly worded note from another flat stuck on the door saw me rooting through the bin to move our bottles, burning with Social Embarrassment. I was a PariahIt's this type of Community Shaming our Country needs, I will never make that mistake again.
Later I Donkey stoned the front step and warned my daughter about underage pregnancy.

Ptarmigan are legal to shoot between August 12th and December the 10th however I doubt anyone actually does.
My comment was based around the absurdity of naming a product "Ptarmigan Pro" when the number of professional ptarmigan shooters in the world is almost certainly zero.I associate with a lot of Shooters and a lot of Golfers and the overlap is zero btw maybe we need a country sports thread to discuss Barbours etc.

The family scruffy leave it anywhere load carrier “The Family Tank” has to be changed after (justified) complaints about its handling.
At the moment it is based on a Dawes Roamer 531st “mountain bike” frame, the new Tank is a Peugeot 531 Magnum frame.
As part of the brake upgrade I might try a rear Shimano Roller brake....two questions.
Are they any good and how do I work out which washer I need they come in 3 widths. -

I’ve driven down it and from the car point of view it’s not perfect either.
If you are heading south from Clapham wanting to turn left a lot of left turns are blocked but the signage is too late then Ritherdon Road dosent look like anything you have ever seen before.
The bits where the cars have 1.5 lanes then 1 them 1.5 should be changed and to 1 lane all the way -

The original line up died, the producers had them all on a constant drug cocktail starting with Double Doves and tequila for breakfast it was the only way they could keep up the excessive energy levels and stop them crying about their disappointed acting careers.
It's common in children's TV if you watch TinkiWinki dance he often did Big Fish-Little Fish.
(the second point is true). -

I used to green lane motorbikes with a fairly well off bunch got into a who can build the fastest van thing, there was a lot of compatibility between Mercedes cars and Vito vans, the competition went over 350bhp.
If you want more the guy (Nourish?) who tested the Jaguar XJ220 engine in a transit is a friend of a friend?
