My Full Hybrid has a CVT gearbox meaning it always runs at the best RPM for the mode Eco/Normal/Sport.
Sometimes you notice the ICE(Internal Combustion Engine) both powering the wheels and charging the battery, presumably this is where there is a slight economy gain by running the ICE at a higher power than is needed to maintain the speed.
This does mean when you accelerate the Revs stay the same the gearbox changes gear, the engine note stays the same just becoming louder which a lot of people hate.
The engine is Atkinson cycle which isn't as flexible across the rev range as Otto cycle but the motors and gearbox fill in the gaps.
Efficiency wise West Norwood through the Rotherhithe tunnel to Enfield 58mpg in an SUV with roof bars on, 44-45 mpg motorway cruising.

Rubbish Guestimate:
8-10 pumps per petrol Station is one pump per 450 cars.
A diesel car has a 500 mile range and takes 5 minutes to fill, 100 miles range per minute.
Each pump can supply 100x60 minutes of fuel per hour, 6000miles worth.
divide that by the 450 cars it has to service each pump can supply 13.3 miles of fuel per car per hour.

The Ratio of Lamposts to cars is about 6:1 so even if they are all converted we will have a shortfall.
I got a hybrid because of range, I've despatched a Honda Bros400 with a 90 mile range and know what a pain it can be. On some motorways I had to refuel partway through a tank because it couldn't do the distance between 3 service stations,
Balancing the figures for Lease cost and BiK tax also goes against PHEV s a XC60 diesel was £40k a PHEV was £60k . I can buy a Diesel XC60 and a Hyundai Hybrid for £60k so is Volvo just making a vast profit on the PHEV?

Are Woolworths American? Did they used to own the US Ambassadors residence in Regents park?
My Mum had a Saturday job in Woolworths when she was a teenager (1950s) she had to test the lightbulbs as they were sold and mark them, otherwise people would clean up the blown bulb and try to return it as faulty.

As you can see it’s a bit dirty at the back of the garage......
I polished the edges of the spokes, sprayed the wheels then wiped the paint off the edges with a rag and thinners.
It’s actually a V50 Monza front wheel. The discs are 10mm further out to help with the spacing on the yokes.(GSX-R yokes, CBR600 forks, Suzuki calliper) -

Cheers @ramrodius. It did put up one hell of a fight but freed it in the end.

Hi my Sons rear Derailleur literally dropped to bits on Sunday.
Has anyone got a 10speed Shimano rear? He is 16 and a bit of a group set snob so 105/Ultegra.
I must just say bastard bastard Shimano for making stuff obsolete.
