I just feel like I can't be bothered when there's any kind of learning curve. I used to love grand strategy games, in fact EU3 might be my most played game ever, but nowadays I give up early if I can't get things straight away.
I have 20h already on RDR2 though, most of them just riding across the map and enjoying the views. Stunning game.

I went for a Streacom ITX case when I built my PC in 2016 or so, and modded it to take a small GPU. Small and none of that RGB freak show.
This is still the case I use now, just have to 3D print a new top lid to take the slightly thicker GPU but in the meantime I'll just keep it open.
The problem is these aftermarket cases are always very expensive. -
more story and less game sounds great. Episode 1 is free on steam, will give it a try
I ended up buying:
Detroit Become Human
Last of Us Part 1
God of War
RDR2
Horizon Zero Dawn
Ori 1
Ori 2so glad I decided to upgrade my pc rather than buying a ps5, it's crazy how much cheaper games are on pc. This whole thing cost me a bit more than 90€

I watched playthroughs of both Last of Us games on youtube because of the tv show and it was such an incredible experience I'm still thinking about it 2 weeks later. I'm constantly watching videos of the 2nd game on youtube. The museum spaceship scene is such a beautiful moment, I've watched it dozens of times and still get teary-eyed.
I just ordered a new graphics card and CPU so I can play the first one when it comes out at the end of the month on PC. I haven't played a new game since the late 00s/early 10s but this really made me want to try out what's out there.
I've also been recommended God of War, RDR2 and Horizon Zero Dawn now that I'll be able to run newer games. Any other recommendations for recent single player story driven games that I might have missed out on this whole time? -

I ended up watching full playthroughs of both games after the 4th episode and I actually enjoyed the game more than the series. Incredible voice acting and soundtrack in the games. I liked the way they changed the Bill story in the series though, wish they had done something like that in the game, maybe a DLC like the Riley and Ellie one.
The second game is devastating, I absolutely loved the story and the ending. The whole thing is very well done and very emotional.

I emailed them in November about the cross check and they confirmed that.
edit:
"To answer your question, at this time we aren't expecting new Cross-Check complete models or framesets, unfortunately. While we haven't completely discontinued this model, what currently is in-market is what is available for Cross-Check." -

What is it that kids say when something is good, it fucking slaps? Anyway, Hades fucking slaps. Love it
