You could use bikeinsights.com to get a sense of different bikes with similar geometry, too.

First post baby ride out yesterday for some quality SFAB. Out on a loop I've bodged together round Mill Hill, Arkley, Little Heath and Cuffley way.
The Crust held up admirably. The RHs rolled beautiful, although the second we got back onto tarmac my friend was quite keen not to ride behind me as it was like 'being behind a muck spreader'.
One excellent incident of team work required to conquer a collapsed foot bridge and Wash Lane was closed, which meant a trip round the back of South Mimms, but all in all a lovely ride and really glad to get back out there.
Edit: couple of minor amends to make to the bike - going to swap the stem for a longer one. The reach is different to my Midnight Special, and I can get away with it, plus it'll help with slightly twitchy steering at times. I want to fit a Nitto UI-25, but no one seems to have them in stock except supposedly a slightly dodgy looking Amazon seller, who did ship one to me, but curiously it's not arrived after about 3 weeks, so a refund has been obtained. Will look for other similar nice silver options soon.
I have also got hold of a Sinewave Beacon 2 from the lovely Keep Pedalling in Manchester (huge shout out for the lovely service and speedy postage), so am going to fit that soon.
Otherwise, there isn't really anything I'd change. It's a ton of fun.

Not necessarily a poor man's Rivendell, but the guys at Isambard have done very cool things in the past, like this Ephgrave: https://www.isambards.co.uk/blog/1953-No.-2-Ephgrave
I started chatting to them about something similar and then ended up getting an actual Riv, and felt a bit of a knob. One day I'll go back to them and get something similar done.

So, last winter I splashed out and bought a lovely looking Jersey from Cafe du Cycliste that I thought would keep me toasty warm and comfy when I can be arsed to go out in Baltic weather.
But, you can tell it was designed by people who only ever ride in the tropical south of France as the bloody thing let the wind in through the zip in such volumes that I might as well have been wearing a soup strainer.
It's now cold enough again that I have dug it out, and am looking to get a more serious zip liner sewn in.
Can anyone recommend someone that could do a decent job?
This is what I'm dealing with.

I've got a mismatched (one black, one ran wall) pair of used Teravail Sparwoods knocking around in the shed you could have for a few quid?
27.5 x 2.1 and while not crazy grippy also aren't atrocious, but roll pleasantly fast on the road.
Edit: to be clear - there's plenty of life left in them, I just spoilt my Crust with some RHs.

There's a photography classifieds thread that it's worth putting this in, here: https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/283419/?offset=2375

Any chance the Zipp service course bars and stem are still available?
