Can anybody point me in the direction of a respray place that can preserve decals while doing it?
Bought a bike frame in a colour I hate, but that doesn't come in another colour and they don't sell replacement decals.
Could get a replacement set made up custom I suppose, but wondered if this was an option first.

I'm looking to shift a size 54cm black Cross Check. 700c compatible and currently built up like this:
I gambled a couple of years ago on a 54cm Cross Check, as I'm somewhere between 54 and 56 for Surlys, but it has not paid off. As such, I've got a 54cm Cross Check I'm looking to sell. There are a few other bits I'm looking to shift too.
Frame - 54cm black - £450 fair? It's a new frame from 2020
Wheels - need to double check the rear. The front is definitely a DT Swiss R460 with SP PV-8 dynamo hub. Rim brake, set up tubeless with Teravail Cannonball (700 x 42). £250 the set?
Handlebars - Nitto Jitensha. £20
Honjo - hammered, fluted mudguards (700 x 48). £80Probably various other small bits like cranks, stem and seat post I could be persuaded to part with, but not anything from the drive train, brakes or saddle.
All in working order and really not been ridden that much! More photos soon.
Currently built up like this:

Floating it on here first for fellow Surly lovers.
I've recently acquired @crow's lovely Pack Rat frame in order to replace a slightly too small Cross Check.
So, I'm looking to shift a size 54cm black Cross Check. 700c compatible and currently built up like this:

It's true, I did! Likewise, great to meet you.
It's a bloody beautiful frame. @crow has done a wonderful job looking after it. I'm hoping to do it justice.
650b is the dream.

It does very slightly, but not enough for me to want to replace them. The design outweighs it for me. Plus, with the bottles in them, I don't see them that much.
I did weigh up attempting to strip the anodysing from them, but I'm both lacking in the skills and interest to do it really.
Happy to have inspired you though! They are a lovely touch.

Been out more recently on the Riv. Made a decent stab of getting to Bognor on Saturday, but was defeated by a more off road section than anticipated coming off the back of Bignor Down. Fortunately I was close enough to my destination not to have to faff with puncture repair!
Few photos from earlier in the day, some from Hammersmith, Surrey Hills and NCN 22.
Absolutely beautiful day for a ride. Do wish I'd taken the mudguards off, but hey ho.

Jumping on this dredge, don't suppose user127304 is still around and fancies reporting on how they got on with the 11 speed shifters and the Deore/shiftmate combination?
I can manage with my current setup, but would really like a little more range and Athena silver medium or long cage rear derailleurs seem to either be entirely mythical or rarer than hen's teeth.

Got it: https://www.nationaltrail.co.uk/en_GB/trails/england-coast-path-south-east/
Cheers for the pointer. Forgot about the new section out to the Isle of Grain that's opened. Might have to try that instead.

Subbed. Very much looking forward to this build.
Ordered an Evasion Lite and hoping a friend will do similar with shipping for me.
The Lightning Bolt and/or Evasion paint jobs are so much nicer than the Lite. Hate the pastel palate.
