11 year old Dexter looking a little bit patchy. Diagnosed as diabetic this week and the poor little fella is all over the place.
Only took him to the vet because he'd started spraying in the house and his rear legs looked a little uncoordinated. Now he's on two insulin shots a day and diabetic food.
Making me properly sad seeing him struggling so much this week.

I got ripped off last year. I've always been happy to pay upfront previously, but now after losing a very serious amount of money I'd never do it again.
Most people are decent human beings, but it only takes one to leave a very bitter taste unfortunately.
I thought I was careful when picking the tradesman out too, knew him for a couple of years and had done various other smaller scale jobs for us, friends and family.

Thanks, my Dad used to work in the insurance game so he's helping us on that front.
We know it won't go anywhere but we'll be instructing him that he must claim on his insurance when we have an idea of overall damage this weekend. He's the only one who can claim as it's his policy, but we will be copying in the insurer when we do it.
We expect no response from him as he's got his head in his arse and hasn't responded to any of our communications so far.
After that there's the 3rd party rights against insurers act, but only after his company is wound up (which he's trying to do).

We've already tried his local paper and the last we heard they were going to approach him for comment.
Action Fraud not so great and don't appear to see it as a crime which I struggle to grasp but won't let go. I want to see him in prison.
I'm saving the Kent Messenger for the absolute star of a builder who's picked up the whole sorry mess.

You'd think insurance would cover it, but despite notifying our house insurance provider and providing them with a copy of the builder's insurance there appears to be no cover for this anywhere!
We're still working on it, but the long and short of it is that our home policy doesn't cover damage caused by the builder's incompetence or negligence and his policy doesn't cover him for the type of building work he was undertaking.

I had a 2008 2.5 saloon for a while. Very nice to drive, based on the Mondeo. Parts are widely available and cheap (especially compared to the Subaru Legacy I had before it). Petrol engines are good and use timing chains, diesel engines best avoided as far as I can remember.
Mine unfortunately died through chassis rust, so I suppose my advice is to have a good look underneath!
