Moving on some underused bits. Here’s a nice sling/waist bag made to my specs by a well-known forum user a few years ago. Padded all over and inside, with a removable insert in the main compartment. Lock holster on the back. Front pocket with separate compartments. Straps underneath for a layer or bottle. Lots of D rings and webbing hoops for clipping things on the outside.
