It's a BSA square taper one

Bought a new bike (Topstone Sora 2020), but instantly upgraded both the wheels and the groupset. So i now have a set of brand new wheels and a full sora disc groupset as configured below. All stuff is straight off the bike and into a cardboard box:

I also have two Challenge Almanzo PRO Open Gravel Clincher Tyre, Black/Tan, 700x33 which i can do for £40 each. Brand new, just could not get them onto my rims unfortunately!

Not interested in splitting the groupset unless there is a buyer for everything.

Been given the task of finding someone's 12 year son a singlespeed - he's a pretty small kid so think 44-48 would be ideal. 650 and 700c are fine. Really doesn't need to be anything special

noticed this too - although it seems like its in adifferent form as to how it normally was pre-corona? are they doing work by the lights or something? (i turn off and go by the river skipping the hills)

Easton AX alloy gravel bars: reach 80mm/drop 120mm/42 ctc/50 cm flare - barely used because too wide for my liking £50

Surly fixed cog: 14t 3/32"x14t - came with rear wheel i bought on here and way to big a gear for my lazy arse so has lied around since - £10

Deda Zero 2 stem: 60mm - SOLD

3T Arx Pro II stem: 70mm/6 degree - £10

Sram Red 11 1x/singlespeed shifters - basically the left one has been gutted so very blingy singlespeed levers or could be used as 1x i suppose as right hand one works fine. scuff marks on one side where i ran into a wall (long story)- £50 - SOLD

Upgraded to cinelli so this is lying round and needs shifting.

I think the front brake is stuck in there..brake works fine though.

Will make a great beater/commute frame for someone.

If this goes as badly as it has potential to could we be looking at a general strike of sorts? most of these workers are going to go back to a workplace void of senior management, hr and accounts, who can all mostly work from home and all generally receive much higher wages in comparison whilst they're forced to go in and make other people money whilst risk their lives on even more overcrowded public transport etc.
Receiving commands and management via text, email and zoom at great risk to their lives whilst being held to ransom by landlords that are protected for their rental payments, banks no longer offering payment holidays (everyone's back at work why would they), and a universal credit system that doesn't work and leaves you much worse off with a minimum 5 weeks wait for any money anyway

Interestingly enough 'the blitz spirit' is pretty much a myth. Most people during the blitz were furious at Churchill for not doing more to prevent it and protect them. When he visited Bristol after one of their worst raids he was roundly boo'd by a significant amount of people on the street.

So it comes as no surprise that reliance on the blitz spirit attitude fails miserably when it's predicated on a gross misrepresentation in the name of jingoistic nihilism (like much else of our Great history)

Looking for some cargo bike advice - We need a bike to cargo 3-5 bike between a shop and officey/storage space about 1 mile away. As far as i can see it's a custom trailer job, i've also seen the omnium's with a few bikes on the front. Anyone got any other reccomendations?

Isn't the problem that they could have just said "yes, we hit 73,000 tests today, this isn't our target number, but it's a significant increase in a short period of time and we will hit 100,000 imminently' rather than fabricate the numbers to pass their own bellweather bollocks?

As ever, it's tory lies and mismanagement - their pride in upholding a stupid target - rather than just admitting the facts of the situation with a bit of fucking purpose and allowing things to at least remain truthful and factful.

Its very similar to cameron's 'tens of thousands' immigration figure that they've clung to for years without being able to actualise it, and rather than backtrack they just rehash the claim/fabricate the numbers a bit.

I'm leaving this here because I, andyp, lewbowski amongst others have shown the ways in which the current political climate points to fascsitic behaviour/tendencies.

The key sentiments of all the arguments i think was consicely put in t-v's bullet points.

The thread has been hijacked and i dont really see what else can be said - people are stuck in their opinions (of which im obviously not excluding myself)

I guess i will say sorry for the 'pal' lol, excitemnt of the moment i guess.

But we should get on with covid and our critical discussions about it.

For someone that doesn't want to get dragged into an internet argument it sure looks like you decided to drag yourself into an internet argument. One that looked like it had quite nicely wrapped itself up (a bit anyway) with a cordial agreement of sentiments between two of the loudest voices in that debate.

I guess i have tarnished this great and friendly thread that has, to date, only solely been about facts and figures and has had absolutely no personal opinion within it at any point in it's (As of now) 466 pages. And for that i greatly apologise and hope that we can work together to get this thread back on track!
