Bought in May and used for circa 1000 miles ish.
A lovely pair of zipp's came up at a good price so these are now surplus to requirements.Minimal signs of use cosmetically.
Located in Ealing or Kingston - can meet in london within reason/timetable dependent.
Asking £325 and can ship in uk for £20.
will upload pictures later

well didn't expect that to take off as well as it did - and stayed so civil too what a bonus.
I guess the takeaway is hydro is obvsiously better but mechanical isn't that bad too. Nice and conclusive!
If i had the money it would be hydro Di2 anyday but i dont think i can convince myself to spend that much so mechanical it probably will be.. -
@Sumo yes i wouldn't deny the obvious stopping benefits of hydraulic but can't imagine mechanical is that bad right? We're talking about a 'gravel' bike that is used more for commuting with the odd weekend gravel ride thrown in so i guess my point is well, are hydraulic brakes necccesary or could i sacrifice the braking performance a bit for some more comfort on the hoods

Are mechanical discs really as bad/pointless as they've made out be? I hate the size of hydraulic mechanical shifters and feel like i should either stump up the cash to go di2 disc or just embrace mechanical disc and run a more budget/mechanic friendly setup with mechanical discs. What are peoples thoughts on here?

So I'm having real pain in my elbows whilst riding on my new Topstone. I've been 'uncomfortable' before on other bikes in the past, even had minor back pain, but managed to sort it with the usual adjustments. But this time after about 20 minutes or so and then for the rest of the ride my elbows really start to hurt. When stopping at the lights and trying to stretch them out a bit by bending or whatever it doesnt help at all.
I've tried short stems, longer stems, narrower and wider bars, rotation of the bars, stem spacer arrangements and am completely stumped! Is there anything else I should try or just resign that the frames not working and look for something new?
I'm 170 and on a topstone small..

would definitely take this off your hands if someone on here could help me understand whether it will or will not fit on my cinelli tutto? I want to run a disk brake on the fron but can't tell if the stock fork is tapered or not..not very well versed in this stuff!

anyone had any experience with hylix forks?
Looking at this one to fit to my Cinelli Tutto...

Yes its certainly not the ideal way of buying a house. But we pay 1200 pcm rent at the moment or could be paying around that all in with charges/rent/mortgage 1 mile down the road and at least be acquiring some level of equity rather than paying someone else's mortgage. Am i being naive or does that not make more monetary sense?
