So finally had delivery of this and chance to take a proper look - So far managed to put my gravelkings on (too green? lol)

The brakes need a bleed as there is next to no stopping power at the moment, still need to find some levers/calipers to go over to flat bar at some point..but guess i will keep it like this until then

Yeah hub gears is hovering in the back of my mind as a potential future option..single speed for now though definitely! Somehow i have missed that thread! will give it a good read now!

Kinesis Aeithein Evo Disc 53cm - New Purple Colourway, Mavic open pro rims on hope silver hubs and spokes, zipp service course sl stem 120, Dura Ace 9120 groupset - very distinctive as not many about and brand new colourway.

The fucker was in lycra and sped off into Kingston town centre - if anyone comes across it please let me know!

Just nabbed this beauty on ebay and thought i'd make a thread for what im planning with it.

The plan is to convert it to flat bars and put some nicer tyres on etc, possibly racks and maybe at some point upgrade the wheelset!

Anyone got/had one and want to share their experience?

Personally I would like to see an implementation of a 'toll' in which drivers pay to get in with perhaps a peak and off-peak charge of say £3 and £1. Tracked by cameras at each gate reading number plates. Season tickets available etc. It's not the biggest change but at least the park could make some revenue from the sheer number of cars that use it and this money could be re-invested in making it more pedestrian/cyclist friendly and working on the infrastucture within the park that causes the jams in the morning.

Obviously the real dream would be ban cars altogether but its just not practical. Plus i think there is some historic precedent with Richmond Park about it being public right of way etc so not sure what legal challenges can be put against any form of restrictions on motor vehicles.

At the very least i would love to see a thorough study of pollution levels throughout the park at various times of day. Super easy to implement with pollution reader machines (very technical language i know) at each other gates/mini roundabouts just off the gates. Think that would paint enough of a bleak picture to get some kind of action going.

Tentatively listing this for sale here as i have a strict one in one out rule and looking to the future need to get a different kind of bike..so reluctantly selling my Dolan Pre Cursa Grasstrack after just under 2 months use.

complete stab in the dark at pricing tbh - figured at 800 fro frameset alone, 1500 for tiagra and 1700 for 105 builds at new £1100 sounded fair with ultegra shifters. Happy to take advice on pricing though if you feel it's too much :)
