Been using this daily as commuter and finally replaced it with something smaller, I would of bought a new groupset and wheels if it fit me.
Paint is tatty , a few patches of rust, and blank primer spots where the stickers have been removed. Selling as a complete but needs some parts replaced to be ridden safely. *one of the front dropouts is a but bashed in, makes taking the front wheel out a bit stiff but not having any other affect that I can see.

Needs new;
Pedals (not included)
headset
wheels (missing spokes, worn rims)
Big chainring

Could do with;
Bar tape
Brake pads
tyres
front derailleur

Collection in Sydenham, or Woolwich could be arranged

Swapped an awful quill stem adapter for a slightly less awful 'steerer extender', cut steerer, swapped stem and improvised a shim as the local bike shop didn't have any. Getting closer to convincing myself to keep the steel forks. Apologies for the junior hacksaw...

Beautiful tyres but surely just gonna ruin the frame? If theres any lateral movement in the rim its just going to rub even more in cornering or when rocking the bike side to side.

MF is so recognisable. I've only shot it on old bellows cameras. Need to explore the rabbit hole further.

Thanks that Lomo 400 isnt bad for the price. This one is great, photos with a natural frame are always my favourite.

I'm enjoying shooting the cheap point and shoots recently. I got a boxed Pentax Espio EW 24mm for next to nothing, slow lens but pretty damn impressed with the first roll on HP5.

Bump on an old thread...
After looking for a new commuter I came across a '97 Fausto Coppi Reparto Corse with misc Campag bits. Upon collection, its condition was much better than I had anticipated. After breaking a lever and getting a good deal on a Centaur groupset, I have decided it is much too nice to commute on. Now slowly undergoing a facelift.

Looks mean, how do you rate the Hunt wheels?

WYCameras were hit and miss for me... Stock desirable things at sometimes competitive prices, but I had an 'Excellent' condition Olympus Pen FT turn up from them really beaten up and grubby with a roll of film still inside, and a canon MC with leaking batteries inside; both seemed to have slipped some basic checks. On the other hand, I bought a perfect OM lens for as cheap as I'd get on ebay.

Did they make the Air forks in threadless or did you get the steerer extended?
I'm currently building a chromed Fausto Coppi, can't decide whether to keep the original forks or not as I hate the threaded stem!
