I've got an old Tacx Flow. Not a smart one, but it does give you your power output / speed etc. onto a display and you can amend the resistance of the wheel on that display.

My dog thought i should go wireless and chewed through the cable which connects the trainer to the display.
First time I managed to solder it back together but second time that didnt work. I cant find any replacements on Tacx website so bought an ADSL cable off Amazon. I can see power coming through on the display but no data is going through. This means I only have the hardest resistance now (and no speed or power output).

Is the solution a different kind of cable or is this the excuse I needed to upgrade to a Kickr Core?

Personally we didn't use puppypads, as that is something you need to first teach them, and then they need to 'unlearn' the behaviour again afterwards - hence us teaching our pup from day 1 to do the business outside.

Another tip for at night in the crate: when they cry, take them out to do their business but very matter of factly. So no smiles, cuddles, play etc. Once they wee or poo, say well done and put them straight back into the crate. That way they learn they won't be getting play time at night and will stop trying to get your attention unless they need to go.

Another thing we used in the beginning was Adaptil spray and a diffuser. Apparently it mimics the mother's pheromones and helps them settle.

Nah, before that you had Stybar, Niels Albert, Sven Nys, Bart Wellens all dominating for one or more seasons. CX is just different from grand tours as typically the strongest ones win (barring technical issues). It's also only 1 hour so if there was one boring race, next one might be exciting again.

CX is more about the party in the tents anyways rather than just the race ;)
