Might have a Ricoh GR Digital to freecycle - afaik photos are saving corrupted if at all
..unless anyone has recent experience with their UK based repairs?
My last experience 8 years ago is shipping it to Germany, being charged 35 euros just to return it, or pay 350 euros for an unnecessary repair job which ended up not solving the original issue. -
Anyone got experience with the spread of Polaroids from retros to their newer stuff?
Going to take a traditional film camera to the Canaries this week but thinking for future touring, a polaroid might be more 'practical' in the sense of at least being able to get your shot processed whilst you're out.
Weight is less of an issue, but ideally something robust and packable

Dropped by to the first Albion (and Apidura) repair event I could make since being out of London for the longest
Legends
Jumping on the Zoa feedback bandwagon - it's an odd piece for me, really cost effective based on last year's price, appreciate that I can beat it about as it's synthetic so I have the option of rewashing
Is a bit on the heavy side though so suits less arduous missions, wonder if it's possible to do an alpha direct version without the need for an inner face fabric, plus with a lot of us wearing hydration packs or vests, make the back panel lower weight/breathable?
Oh also, loads of the zipper pulls keep coming away. The dual zipper on the side pockets were a bit of a liability as with gloves and moving, I worried I'd 'upzip' and potentially spill pocket contents onto the road
Wish the rear pocket I'd just be able to reach through and yank something out of my jersey to give more storage options and less faff -

The less glamorous pics
Although I realised I didn't list/factor into the price more specs I added:
Force 165mm Cranks
Hexlox security axle/skewers
New quick links for more spares
Wheel is dished slightly toward the NDS to increase clearance for 43mm rear tire - no perceivable effects on handling
On that, I'll throw in my other Hope Pro 4 XDR rear wheel and extra tire for £150Currently weighs 9.2kg but with Quadlock mounts, tubes, plastic pedals and random saddle - so definitely a 8.x kg build!

My well used Trek Crockett 52cm 2017,
Originally a mechanical brake, 11 speed , 50t by 11-36 CX bike that I used for weaving through London traffic - this has been a super lightweight and utilitarian platform that went from commutes to being dragged around the world on different adventures on and off-roadTo be honest sad to see part of my cycling history go, especially as it hit the sweet spot of functionality but affordable enough to lock up around town or pack into a bus for said adventures - but need to fund other trips whilst work is stuck pending
Its final incarnation is now with:
- Force HRD shifters and brakes, with 12sp Ratio upgrade, Garbaruk cage and pulley wheels
- 44t chainring and 10-50t Eagle cassette - these are quite aged and shifting for the most part is precise, however to be improved with the below
- Fresh 40t Chainring and NIB 10-52t Garbaruk cassette ready to swap in that'll be priced into the sale and forms a large part of the price, plus new Eagle chain just fitted
- Just serviced with a new headset bearing, wheelset bearings checked and new brake pads prior to sale
- Tons of spares included - NIB Wheelset bearings, 50t and 40t front chainrings, Trek mudguard mounts, mech hangers, spokes, axle/qr/freehub converters for running the Novatec/Hydra wheelset on future bikes, Mack Workshop half frame bag to be thrown in (zipper split and he no longer operates, could be repaired, I currently run it with straps)
Additional specs
165mm Force Crankset
Hope PF41 Bottom Bracket
Thomson Masterpiece layback post
Deda ZeroNero 100mm Carbon stem
Novatec-Hydra 700c wheelset - Tubeless taped (tubes in at present) with Gravelkings/rotors included
Beater saddle, tape, pedals and 40cm Bontrager bars
Security skewers suppliedMain flaws - mostly aesthetic
Paint chips and marks throughout frameset, shifters, mech and cranks
Filed and smoothed the L brake hood after an abrasion
Dremel marks to the front axle after a previously seized axle that has now been replaced
Rear mudguard stay use to spin, now bonded with Aruldite
On the old cassette, shifting slightly hesitant on the top 2 gears - to be resolved with fresh Garbaruk stuff
Ratty bar tape, to be swapped to your preferencePics are in bikepacking mode - sold without most bags and TT bars, some temporary plastic pedals will be included
(£1200) now £1000 will hopefully count for 'used' prices for all the parts, despite the new bits, with all of the labour that's gone into this comped in, though give a shout if I'm off
Welcome to have a look around London until the end of November, and could drop off to you, otherwise beyond that pickup from SE26
- Force HRD shifters and brakes, with 12sp Ratio upgrade, Garbaruk cage and pulley wheels

Potentially interested, what limits compatability with MTBs? As I run small sizes of frame, but not sure if it denies long forks or (deflated) 700c MTB tyres
