This hides at the back of my basement, it's in very good condition, I just put a new gold chain on it as I get bored easy, rode it to the shop to get some beer and defo looks bling. I can take recent photos if there is interest but it looks the same (apart from the de-stickered rims, mavic branding is ugly as sin).

So on my eternal quest of trying to build a bike I like from an old steel frame...
Hardrock frame from 93? Couldn't colour match the frame with the catalogue.
Bought a few bits and bobs, mainly modern deore groupset, 10 speed! Also some wheels with a dynamo, cool.
The main aim was to get it built so I could get a feel for size and what handlebars I want.
Main gripes are the seapost + clamp situation, does not look good. As it is a 26.6mm post it's very hard to source a good looking one.
I'm hoping I can remove the branding from the seat post and eventually I'll just replace the quick release with a bolt.
The other annoyance is the absence of a rear cable stop which makes running v brakes untidy, there is a "problem solver" clamp on cable stop but at £19 I can't bring myself to buy...
Will be changing the stem, probably velo orange with removable faceplate so I can run some crazy bars or Geoff's.
Need a new saddle, hoping I can test drive some soon.

I was surprised at how nice this build turned out, now I don't want to ride it and it lives in my basement, sad!
£320 ono, there is some nice bits on here, the bars especially. The groupset, seat post and bottle cage are original, win.
Pickup from Walthamstow, no splits, no postage.
Rockhopper frame 18" I'm 5ft 11 and you can see the seat post stem set up

Nitto bullmoose bars (mint)

Looks great, nice to get a bit or personality on a bike! I think when you buy spray.bike you know the quality will never be amazing but... good fun either way.
How come you didn't do a full base coat? I would have also applied 2 coats of each colour with a wet sand in between each coat (but does increase cost) to get a smoooth finish.
If you do it again I'd get some Frog tape for the masking, you could also use vinyl shapes .

Recommend something like the 7 minute HiiT workout (it's a 7 minute circuit which you can do as many times as you want) to get your heart rate up and after stretch your glutes (back ache is rarely your actual back that is the cause), I use a foam roller which I also recommend having on hand.
I goto my osteopath often with back problems and the above is always my "homework".

Nice!
a. Are the tyres worth the price?
b. Where the hell can I order them?
