Wow, when I said this build would be slow, I didn't mean this long... Wheels arrived last week.

Frameset and wheels are still boxed up until I get everything else. I also have a thomson seatpost+stem and hope seat collar which is the only thing I have fitted.

Will be ordering GRX groupset this week hopefully.

Where did you order the GKs from?

The in-laws have a Miele and swear by them, I think they have a Miele washing machine and fridge. I think the customer service/warranty and the "years of service" has them locked in.

Limited edition parts appreciate in value all the time, there's nothing wrong with that at all. If there is a market for it then it should be priced in line with others, if it's the only one out there for sale then charge what you would be happy to let it go for, if no one buys it, keep it or re-evaluate the value.

Your best bet would be eBay in this case.

Tbh I recently bought a car and a week later the fuel pump went, I suppose it's the risk you take buying used. I'd always recommend if buying used checking everything is torqued correctly before riding, or getting a service from your local friendly bike shop.

Personally I would have given you some money back but everyone's situation is different.
