True, but when you consider it's likely you'll want to run full guards on the arkose the (potentially non-) issue could become exacerbated no? Especially when climbing/coming to a stop?

I'm 173cm and have a 75cm bb to saddle top, very similar to Howard. I'm a bit more legs than torso. Riding medium arkose with 80mm stem and the fit is great. With 25mm setback Seatpost and stem slammed (well, on to the ~16mm conical headset spacer) I've matched the fit on my size S canyon ultimate (on which is a 110mm stem), albeit with 10mm extra stack, which I think is perfect for the type of bike this is!

I had the same questions as you when buying, and I'm pretty sure either size could work. Not sure if toe overlap is a risk with running the size s.. Worth checking. I ended up with the M simply because that was what was available on ebay at the time of buying. Hope that helps.

I can quite honestly say up until now, I've never once looked on the aliexpress site. I'm not sure I understand how to use that webpage. Ux is. Shite. Presume there's shipping costs + potentially duty to be paid on purchases from there (is it China) ?

Anyway do please advise if you feel my pricing is off! More than happy to adjust if so. My only reference point was what I've seen them advertised for on here recently which was usually £50/ pair.

Free to anyone who wants it, as I know many people on this forum are pretty handy with a sewing machine, and with making bags specifically. This has been an excellent bag for me over the years, I'd far rather see it put to good use than it go in the bin. Will keep for one week before chucking it. Collection in whitechapel e1

@hp93 I'm not sure if GB guards is a specific brand or something, but I'm running 700 x 50mm sks chromoplastic on my ark with room to play with. Using 38mm GK SK's if that helps
