I am 186 (91 inseam) and went with the 56. First track bike for me as well.
I am running 20mm risers, about 20mm of spacers and a positive stem and still have about 10cm of saddle to bar drop.
If I had to choose between the 56 and 58 again, I'd go with the 58.
On the other hand I'm just street riding and not doing races...

What size is the crappy one?
