I've been thinking about buying a set of those Easton cranks for a while now.
I've never used the Cinch direct mount system, can you rotate the chainring how you want?
Looking at pictures it looks like both crank spline and chainring interface are not keyed.

Did this bike ever get finished? Any pictures of it fully built up?

I had totally forgotten about your thread on the VW bus! Just read through the last three pages I missed. Such a great build! Love all the tinkering. But most impressed about your perseverance and ability not to get discouraged by all the setbacks that come along with such a build.

If they are FR5's, they are indeed for v-brakes as @Alban suggested.
Maybe upgrade to some black v-brakes?

From the pictures it looks like the 2020 model.
Anybody riding a current Optimo model that can tell me max tire clearance?
The only problem is the price. How much would you pay for the frame?
