Do you get the noise only when the chain goes onto the chainring at an (severe) angle?
I've had similar "issues" with narrow wide chainrings. After some riding the drivetrain gets a lot smoother, I guess it's all those sharp edges on the chainring getting slightly worn away.
Can't comment on the wax thing. Still using chain lube... -

Easton EA90 with a Bingham spider:
https://binghambuiltbikes.com/store/product/bingham-built-custom-spider/
Spendy, but great looking combination! -
I just watched some of Bombtrack's House Blend videos and came across this one:

I immediately knew that I saw that bike shop (and logo) before somewhere on the forum. I couldn't find this thread at first so I went to your shop's IG page and looked at the earliest posts. There I found the Cotic Escapade and that's how I found this thread (again).
I hope you and your shop are doing well!
Anything new with your own bikes?

I've had omniums, and I currently run those same rotor cranks, and I can tell you the rotor are a LOT more flexible. I am going to replace the rotor arms with the new carbon arms since those are supposed to be better.
also
Climbing hills on the rotor ALDHU alloy arms has so much flex you can feel your foot is at an angle, you're forced to climb out of the saddle so that you can tilt the bike and level out your feet.

I've built mine (2 sets) without washers and no problems so far.
I've read somewhere that only the more expensive DT Swiss rims which use a different alloy than the cheaper ones need the PHR washer. But don't quote me on that. When looking at the DT Swiss website, you can see that for both the EX 471 and the RR 411 it says "Non eyelet PHR" whereas it only says "Non eyelet" for the R 460.

"High rise" cable guides are indeed a thing:

Some of the Planet X frames (London Road, etc.) use them. -

Has the leaky window issue been resolved yet?
