Looks like you will either have to go with some vintage Dura-Ace or Modern 105 Calipers. As far as I know these are the only two silver Shimano options at the moment.
Here some BR-7800 for example.

So the rear Mech is working flawlessly now. Turns out the hanger was bent. Having these two next to eachother one can clearly see how much the weight of a bike can affect performance.

I have lubed the chain properly so I tend towards the dodgy hanger. Well I hope the issue will be fixed today either way.

To be honest I did think about it because the derailleur cage seemed slightly tilted. I will have the guys at the shop check the alignment. Thanks for the tip

Normally I would agree with you but this time I’m having troubles with it. If I adjust the mech to shift smooth in the smaller cogs then it’s not functioning properly in the large cogs and the other way around. Not sure what to do here so my friend and I just decided to take it to the LBS and see what’s up

Finally it’s done. Just needs some indexing done by a pro cause Chorus exceeds my mechanical skills as it looks...

Great bike, the "superior" brother of my frame. Unlike you though, the decals are not painted on my bike unfortunately.

I’ve tried to research further and there is no way that they made a “freuler” in size 54. It wouldn’t make any sense.

I wanted to ask if anyone of you could help me out. The seller described this frame as a size 54, yet by the look of it it’s a “Freuler” frame. As far as I know “freuler” frames started with anything above size 60. Could it be that it is really is a size 54 or is the seller simply mistaken?
