Chap I know has one, he thinks its the best thing since sliced bread, hes not a brompton mechanic and I would not touch one with a bargepole.

Brompton guards work fine, I have some spare rear stays if you need?
The racks are useful if you use it for luggage and are happy to take it off each time to kick the wheel under / if you need to wheel it around a lot.. just unfold and wheel it.
There’s small racks on eBay for £35 or you can go up to like 200+ for lovely carbon ones! Depends what you need..
I fine just some slightly bigger / better easy wheels covers it for me, but I don’t intend on ever rolling the bike semi folded.

used the levers before? fitted a set to this project im doing for a friend and they feel terrible, only way I can get some brake feel is to pull the lever in with the adjuster halfway to the bar...

Probably standard, only sold with the chains so never needed to know!

A specific sturmey nipple, and it’s with an outer, cut to length, with ferrules etc.

I like the TPW ones tbh, a fair chunk of dosh, but they are a lot lighter!
