*older XT disc calipers that I need to source levers for -
So after we found out that were we’re gonna have another baby (youngest of 4 for me) my wife decided she wanted to sell her “actual” mountain bike, but keep her 90s Indy Fabulous for tooting about with the family. Then right before we moved to the country side with 10 acres my wife decided she wanted to sell her Indy Fabulous and just keep her Soma rando bike.
And now she’s been grumbling that she should have kept her mountain bike, or perhaps she should sell the Soma and get a new mountain bike...
So her birthday is April 1rst and she has this surprise coming:

Loads seem to add a specific soup or something .
This is due to a lot of “family” recipes being originally found on the side of boxes. Some of the poorer regions are famous for having random ingredients as substitutions, Sprite cake being a favorite. Basically the soda adds a leveling agent and liquid so you can leave out eggs when making boxed cake.

Fair enough, I’ve just seen on LFGSS many times folks acting like every thing in The US is prepackaged. It seems like the same amount between the two countries tbf.
My Irish MIL complained about how all the pastries in the US have too much sugar, yet the only place she would get breakfast when she was visiting was the Jewish bakery.

As a Canadian I was wondering that too, I've only ever heard "of" in reference to time when I'm in UK and Europe.

Well we do say “of” as in “quarter of twelve” as in 11:45. At least in New England, but the US is pretty big with lots of different regional ways of saying things.
