I moan and joke about Rapha stuff too at times but I’ve not found anything else that’s definitely better to transition to.
I like the Albion stuff. My maap bits are ok style wise but not as well made as Rapha. Assos can’t produce a long short seemingly. Castelli and Sportful are fine but a bit euro disco vibes.

Side not public access with Shadow is going really well, hairdressers, overground, tube and Canary Wharf for lunch this week.
H is holding the jacket lead about 40%, although H ‘s walking is much calmer with Shadow present. Not without its stresses but feels like travel in the right direction.

I’ve a supernova E3 triple, it’s probably a bit too wide a beam for road riding given how bright it is. What are the best alternatives?

We are going in to week 3 with Shadow. She’s settled really well, last night was the first night she spent the full night in H’s room, achieved simply by closing our door. Bond is growing between the two of them slowly but inline with my expected trajectory.

Her recall is great on the long lead and her following and checking in on me whilst walking on it is good. Not sure when I’ll feel comfortable taking her off lead mind. It amazes me how different she behaves on different leads and different modes.

Settling well at cafes etc. She starts public access proper this week with me, so fingers crossed that goes smoothly. Be interesting to see how many questions I’ll be fielding once she starts working properly.

Yeah need to work out a plan but lots of change going on at the moment which won’t be forever 🤞
