Vulpine Gilet - SOLD

I bought the Medium Vulpine Softshell Gilet this week in the sales. Unfortunately it is too big for me. Although I can easily return it for a refund, I thought I'd offer it here as the men's version is no longer available and thought someone might have missed the offer.

I'm gutted it is too big as it is a lovely piece of kit with great detailing and some lovely touches (magnetic pockets etc). The colour is also bright without being too in your face. It would fit someone who is normally a large rather than someone who is traditionally a medium.

Continental GP4000s Tyres 23mm - Was £20 now £15

I've moved to bigger rubber so no longer need these. They have come off the summer bike so have only had dry miles, no punctures on them. Plenty of life left.

I have a question regarding mudguards....

I had PDW Full Metal Fenders on a previous bike and liked them, is there a better / cheaper alternative? Ideally I'd like to go metal and have them complement the frame which i believe the PDW ones do.

The Kinesis Fend Off guards look decent but weighty...

Thanks ,yeah I'm hoping it turns out ok. Has been a bit of a leap of faith so far! I can almost guarantee it'll get the full customs treatment though, the forks got caught a few weeks back. Luckily, I managed to get a partial refund on the charges due to Parcelforce's ineptitude so in the end it wasn't too bad!

The tapered top tube is non standard. I'd seen a bike in the flesh with one and really liked the effect so asked them to do it on mine.

Astomi was the custom name I plumped for. In Greek mythology they were a race of people who didn't need to eat or drink. I have the worlds slowest metabolism and can quite happily do 100 miles on an empty stomach. It's a touch geeky but anyone who rides with me, would get the reference.

The standard Waltly finish is plain sand blasted, brushed finish is a free upgrade and logos are 20 dollars...

I had completely discounted the G-One Speeds but the Road CC review says they're still really fast on the road

I had an update from Waltly this morning. The frame is built it is just in the hand brushing stage at the moment. Shipment should be early next week.

Thanks, If I do try tubeless again it will probably be Pro Ones in 28mm. I'll have a look at the Effetto sealant, i've heard good things about Orange Seal...
