'Project Scarlet' was announced at E3 this year as the next Xbox release and sure I saw at the time they were hoping for a Winter 2020 launch. Or maybe it's just me and wishful thinking as I'm holding out to just get that when it's released and Backwards Combatibility play all of the Xbone releases that I've been wanting to play over the years.

Thank you for the brownie suggestions @SuperSalad, @TvH and @mrs_socks. Went for suggestion from mrs_socks in the end as the world of gluten free flour scared me. Made two batches, I think the first was a litte 'bitty' as my blender couldn't quite get the beans to mix to the right cosistency but a bit of thicker roughage never hurt anyone. The second I blended beans in smaller amounts and then added the rest bit by bit and got a smoother mix. Was very easy to make and would have been even easier with a good mixer. Topped some with a coconut chocalate ganache (consisting of coconut something, sugar and cocoa powder I believe) that my flatmate donated after she made a massive amount recently. Had two last night to 'test' and one this morning after they'd been in the fridge over night and was personally very happy with them. Will see what my colleagues think. Highly reccomend and also plan to try the other two suggestions soon, probably using flour in them I think.

Looks to be almost unanimous support from his fans on his social media platforms where he’s given his apologies. Filled with a lot of holes too, plenty of people going down the route of claiming BC are stupid for the ban since it’s something anybody can ‘unlock’ so it’s not really an unfair advantage, but I’d say missing the point that that this is the exact reason why he’s ‘cheated’/gained the advantage. Why didn’t he just do the actual stuff to unlock the bike? If he can get to the stage of winning anyway, it should have been a piece of piss to just unlock it normally surely? It’s effectively an ‘e-sport’ at this point, if someone was playing competitive World of Warcraft and cheated with a bot to get a better sword that should take time and grinding to get, then yes they should be removed from their podium, same thing in my eyes.

Was left hooked by a taxi driver turning from Great Queen's Street onto Kingsway as I was going across to remnant street a few weeks ago. No indication so assumption that driver was also going straight on. Then as they turned they beeped the horn at the cyclist who was in front of me and them and the pedestrians who had started to cross. The other cyclist was able to avoid a collision but I was knocked by the rear left door section and took a tumble. Taxi driver drove away and had to run after them as they were completely oblivious to anything that had happened it seems. Didn't exchange any information at the time because my head was a bit all over the place and when I came to my senses and turned back to do so they had driven off. Caught it on my camera so roadsafed and received a letter the next week to say an investigation had been opened. Got in today to find a letter stating 'insufficient evidence to provide a realistic prospect of conviction' so 'it has been decided to take no further action on this matter'. Not particularly happy with the outcome given how little of shit the driver had and how clueless they appear to be driving a large vehicle around such a busy city but that's that, hope their fare who was in the back at the time at least didn't tip. Will upload a video and tweet to TfL or something if I can be bothered but don't fancy a bunch of Taxi drivers getting agro at me.
Edit to include video, the sound is removed from the end to save people from the horrible noise of running on the camera:

Durham was my second University for my Masters and as of 2014 it was still very much college based club socials that would be around but I think this is due to it being really quite an uncentralised system, I had no ties to the Union there compared to Newcastle where I would be there almost every day due to involvement with clubs and the University Radio. I was at Josephine Butler College and remember in the first few weeks the College Football Club doing their initiations in a group of trees that were just off the college grounds. The darts and pool teams were some of the worst at my time though.

I wonder if it is ingrained in the sport itself and is just part of the overall culture both in and out of university for some sports. At both Universities I went to it would be the same sports that were known to be the heavier drinkers and everything that then comes along with this. Or alternatively they were just the bigger clubs of popular sport in the UK and so with that comes more people so increased overall numbers of both drinkers and non-drinkers.
Obviously the above case is different here as it is a Union Society for Agriculture students that anyone can join rather than a Sports Club.

Remember hearing about this case at the time. Was really sad to read. I seem to recall in my years at Newcastle a few years before this initiations were banned by the Union. Can't say we carried them out in the Surf Club but we'd still do Edward Ciderhands/Amy Winehands at the Newquay surf trip at the start of the year so not really much difference I suppose when you're a new student trying to make friends. The agrics were always notorious throughout the University though.

Are there any recommended go to vegan brownie recipes anyone can point me towards? I'm due to bake something for work after my sweepstake contestant of the Great British Bake Off was kicked out last week and would like to make something that everyone can have if they would like to (if there's any tips on how to make this gluten free that would also be appreciated, though not actually sure if there's any dietry requirements for this in the office so not entirely neccesary, but would be useful to know in future for my celiac vegan friend who visits me in London now and then). After something gooey and fudgy rather than cakey, looked around online and there's a lot out there so just curious about first hand experience of aynthing

Fans of the band Tool, I include my younger self in this. Yeah they make some good songs, stop gushing about how they should be the most admired and resepcted group of musicians to have ever graced the earth. They use out of the ordinary time signatures, that's it, deal with it. You're not smart or unique for liking some hidden gem, they're a mega group who have been nominated for and have won a number of awards.
And it took them 13 years to basically write an album that sounds like anything else they've ever released.
10,000 Days (Wings Part II) is dope though I'll accept that one

Unfortunately as I say I didn't think to exchange any information when I was at the window of the taxi speaking to the driver and when I got my head back in to order a couple of seconds after walking away back down the road and peds asking if I was ok I turned around and they had driven away
