Looks like a chose the right day to start back on my RRtY. Up to 5 now. After the Boroughs Spiral ride I did in December I’d wondered if it would be possible to do something without leaving Zone 3. Turns out the route plan was quite easy and ended up only needing to go south of the river as that’s where I live. Basically used this map https://goo.gl/maps/3Y8A1TAfjK4egrZeA to plot it, went diagonally across from New Cross to the North West then went east and west backwards and forwards a few times hitting the edge of Zone 3, cutting south a little bit then going back across. The ride itself turned out to be a or nicer than expected as well. Hit Tottenham at the morning school run which was a bit grim as was the End of school run as I was going through Chiswick.
Would I recommend it. No. But if anyone wants the route I’m happy to share it.

Doesn’t look to be much info on this one other than a few tweets. Hopefully nothing major.

This was the info I found about the resumption of RRTY. I happen to have the last few days of March off so might try to squeeze a DIY in then to get it started up from March.

And another descendent, Ed Bazalgette, was lead guitarist of the The Vapors famed for Turning Japanese. He is now a director who has worked on multiple dramas including Doctor Who and an episode of Seven Wonders of the Industrial World about Joseph William Bazalgette called The Sewer King.
edit: Was sure I’d posted about this before and A search of Bazalgette shows pretty much this exact few chain of comments about 10 months ago following a different Joseph William Bazalgette related tag

Finished off Assassin's Creed: Origins this week. It was good but definitely a step away from the general feel of the previous games. I liked the mechanics of it and the open world that they created (it was also beautiful to look at). Was always a bit annoying that it seemed to be impossible to properly sneak around and pick people off in the guarded areas as there were just so many people out in the open that it felt like someone would always see you from quite far away and instantly turn into attack mode and come running at you, dragging along every other enemy there was. I didn't get on with the tools at all in this one so maybe that's why as I was going at this method with the wrong angle? The main story was interesting and was an acceptable way to give the history of the start of the line of Assassin's I think. The side missions felt a bit empty, I think I can see what they were trying to do with some of them in making little side stories that ran on to each other, but they just felt a bit disconnected from everything. Overall it was a bit of a messy mix of RPG with the old format but I enjoyed it still. Will look at getting Odyssey from CEX in the nearish future, but will be taking a break for now as I've pretty much just played Assassin's Creed for the last 3-4 months.
Saw Elite: Dangerous was now on Game Pass and I've wanted to play that since it came out but never had a PC that I felt was capable of it so downloaded that and it has a STEEP learning curve it seems. It looks similar to the X space games though which I played a lot of back in School/College/Uni so I'm getting on ok with it I think. Also dowloaded No Man's Sky as another one I've wanted to play since it's release, enjoying that too, though I'm not a big fan of base building type things so will see how I get on in the long run to see if you can focus on other stuff and just have a simple base.
When playing either the controls and mechanics are mixing in my head which may be making things a bit more difficult, probably not the best idea to start 2 different space exploration games at the same time.

An older 360 wireless controller will still need this adapter I think - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Official-Wireless-Gaming-Receiver-Windows/dp/B000MGVAAQ (edit: the official one doesn't look to be made anymore but plenty third party ones around or maybe second hand on ebay or something)
If you have to buy the 360 controller and the adapter it might work out to be the same price as a newer one?
Think the new ones should work ok with the bluetooth provided the PC can connect?

I'm happy to hear so many are getting jabbed still. On a personal level both my grandmas have had theirs which was a big relief (one of them did have covid previously which was a stressful time but she had no issues and ploughed through it thankfully). My dad is a GP so he had his quite early on and is giving them out to people in his area, not sure how it works for him but think the surgery are on a bit of a rotation with it between general clinical days and vaccine days, next session for him is on Saturday I think. Mam who is early 60s has had hers now too so thankfully that's everyone I've personally fretted about. Mine is a long way off I'd think but is great to see this thread pop up with news of others getting it sorted throughout the day.
Been on holiday from work for the last week and a bit and ended up putting about 70 hours into Yakuza Kiwami over that time. Ended up with about 85% completion, the only stuff I didn’t bother with was the gambling and baseball sim thing as couldn’t be bothered with them so that’s the missing 15%. Really got into it though and enjoyed pretty much every aspect so started on the second one now. Never played the originals but these remakes look great to me.
Also downloaded Fallout 4 and been dropping into that, never really got into Fallout 3 or NV and having similar problems with 4. I always feel a bit aimless and lost. Possibly the point though.
