My thoughts on ‘staycations’ can be found previously in this thread but I’ll always get pissed off at people using staycation in place of ‘holiday in the country I live in’. If you live in London and go stay somewhere in the Lake District, you’ve not had a staycation. You’ve had a holiday in the Lake District.

There's been a lot of stuff there recently and I can only assume it's because of the Brixton Academy situation where a lot of bands would usually go? Same with a lot more at Kentish Town Forum as well.
Anyone in the business know if that's the case or if it's just more bands I'm interested in have started to pop up at more varied places recently?

Saw them there a few years ago and remember it felt like a good venue for them, I stayed down in the lowered (sunken?) standing bit where I think the stage did feel quite high above, but for Godspeed that's no bad thing I don't think. It's another gig that when it gets closer I'll be annoyed I didn't get a ticket but right now I feel I've seen them enough times so don't need to go to every gig they put on. Just wish Silver Mt. Zion would do something these days.
Didn’t even realise TesseracT had been playing. Would have quite liked to have seen them.
