I asked it to help me code a hamburger menu to sit across multiple pages but only be controlled in one location to make updates easy and it nailed it.
I've been trying to get the 'C++ expert' version of GPT to code stuff for Arduino for me and it's ten steps towards, nine steps back - takes at least a dozen tries if it gets it at all.
Were you particularly concise or specific in asking for the code?

Nice selective quoting there.
Either you didn't understand the situation despite the exhaustive explanation which worked for others, or you're being disingenuous like the very worst politicians. I suspect the latter, but you decide which is worse.
I've said all that's necessary and more; have at it. It's bedtime in this part of the world

Cable operated hydraulic calipers are an evolutionary dead end.
I dunno; aside from working with cable brifters, the tiny contained hydraulic system basically needs zero maintenance, right? And the major drawback of cable discs is the frequency of adjusting for pad wear. Seems like a pretty good idea to me; I was a hydraulic service technician for about as many years as I was a bike mechanic, and IMO hydraulic brakes on a bike can fuck right off. Hybrid calipers don't count because you never need to see the oil. Cables are lovely. You can see whatever's wrong with them at a glance; no problems can hide.

Given its 90s, measure the OLD between the dropouts; maybe it's 130 already, and if the hub isn't pulling the frame together by 4mm you should be golden if there's a couple of spare mm on the DS spacing. 7s would have been the cheap seats in the 90s, so maybe it's easily upgradeable.
Otherwise you'll need to add some OLD to the hub and some dish to the wheel; you can probably get away without cold-setting but best to bother for the sake of the bearings and axle.

I know it sounds crazy, right?
Time will tell. Will post any developments. I'm optimistic though since it's just in compression
