A Force 1 rear mech can shift up to a 42t sprocket officially and a 46t sprocket unofficially so they do provide a lot of range.
Depends on the F1 derailleur, SRAM make a short cage and a medium cage version. The short can only go up to 36T officially. Looks like the cassette on there is a 32, so it may be the short cage version.

This is what you need. We have several sets in our kitchen, you dont need fancy switches and new wiring, a product exists to do the job. The Enteenly LED strip runs off a plug with a thin wire, you can resize the light strip length cut shorter or daisy chain together to make longer, change intensity and colour all by remote control. Cheap and easy as chips.
We got our from Lidl, apologies for the Bezos link:

Take the seatpost out, clean it, clean the seat tube. check them for any damage. If not, apply lots of fresh carbon grip paste, put it back in and use a torque wrench to tighten the clamp properly to 5nm. Let us know how you get on.
Your seatpost is also set very high. Check where the minimum insertion line is on the seatpost, there may not be enough seatpost left below the clamp for a secure fit, the bike may be too small for you if so.

Why hasn't Brompton made a disc model yet?
It's clearly not difficult as its being done by a chap in a garage (Kinetics), so why not?
