As title, frame and forks for sale:
What I believe to be a Mercian Pro frame from the late 1970s. I built it up in hope of restoring it, however it's too big for me. It could do with blasting and re-enamelling to restore it fully as the paint is scrappy, but is still a functional frame right now. Has lovely 3 inch spearpoint lugs around the bottom bracket to give extra stiffness, wrapover seat stays, Cinelli sloping fork crown, Campag dropouts and a serial number on the BB shell. The head decal was an unusual 'M', though Mercian said to me that the original customer may have asked for that. Negatives are that the drive-side dropout was slightly bent out of true when I bought it, so it has been carefully bent back to position, though the dropout adjuster screw threading seems to be affected as it currently will not accept a screw all the way. There is also a braze on missing for front mech.Dibs then PM please. Posting this out only and postage is included in price: £125.00
(I built it up the other weekend and it rides nicely, pic is included to show clearances)

Both Shimano freewheels I owned reached about six months of general use before skipping, clunking and degrading then needing an overhaul. Wet weather kills them in particular. I've switched to a White Industries ENO and the difference is noticeable in build quality. If I had known this previously then I would have just bought an ENO.

These three parts have had plenty of use, but might help someone out on here for spares or to power a beater. Posting out only so you will have to cover postage - will try to keep it as economical as possible, i.e a couple of quid per item hopefully. Other than that the bits are £free.
Exage action calipers - full smooth working order, no blocks, 39mm-49mm reach.
Sram GXP bottom bracket, used (about 1500 miles), still runs though not too smooth now.
Sram 1031 (not 1051 as package says) chain, again well used but is functional with a bit of lube.

One of those where you can see both sides of the argument. Kudos to the seller for showing up in the thread to resolve things.
