the pulley offsets and cage length should make it shift an 11-40 better. i can also use the garbaruk cage mod to make sure i have enough capacity.

@Netakure i have found it difficult to get the ultegra rx to shift it as well as i'd like.

anyone know for sure that the grx 1x di2 specific rd (812 i think) will shift in a 2x configuration. looking to shift 50-34 or 48-31 x 11-40 better than i currently am with my ultegra rx di2 rd.

yea i use pdws all the time too. the pdws are miles easier to fit of course. set up well the veloduos are nicer. and are a lot lighter. they are more comparable to honjos.

i've had the 700c and the 650b versions. i think the older ones were way too flimsy. newer 650b one was much better. if you have the time to assemble them property they are solid. i'd ask them to make sure you are getting the stiffer version though.

well there is no difference. that is the same frame. the new one has fully integrated cables and deeper sections throughout

they women's canyons are always dope. agreed that the zipp logos are awful.

it is hideous (esp the canyon) but the bar suspension stuff does work. i have one of the shock stop stem things and i imagine the future shock is nicer, esp since the newer one is damped. it isn't necessary for most riding ofc but there have been a few times when i was doing fast rocky or washboarded descents that i was very happy for it, some super long rides, and also some unexpected pothole impacts. only time it is annoying is when sprinting on the hoods which i don't do much of anyhow.

i feel like the light mounting situation on the bars still keeps it from that, but i'd probably have one anyway if it hard mudguard mounts.
